October 1-3 I attended the annual Border League. It is quickly becoming one of the premier fall events not only on the West Coast but in the country. The amount of elite players that were a part of the event was off the charts. And of course college coaches follow all the talent with them taking in the action nearly wall to wall standing room only games on some courts.

Here were the top SF's who shined when I viewed them

[player_tooltip player_id='2457665' first='Viktor' last='Babic'] Perry (Pictured)

A bigger wing forward with big time skill. He is one of those who shooting strokes who look good every attempt from the three point line and will hit the jab step three. He is a sneaky quick second jumper to score on offensive rebound put backs and tip-ins. He can handle it fairly well and he is a very good passer for position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533651' first='Bentley' last='Elrod'] Sunnyslope

A bigger scoring guard or wing forward who comes with a lot of skill and some athleticism. He has a pretty shooting stroke from the three point line and gets squared in a blink of an eye. He rebounds well in his area and plays a smart floor game moving the ball like you should.

[player_tooltip player_id='3789696' first='Christian' last='Elocobe'] Dream City Christian EYBL

A newcomer for me is a unique point forward type who will defend nearly every position on the floor from post players to guards and wings on the perimeter. He has good court vision and will score. He likes getting downhill with his size and will score it in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140875' first='Demarcus' last='Henry'] AZ Compass Prep EYBL

The top combo forward on the board is your point forward type who can defend every position on the floor. Pound for pound he is one of the best rebounders in the country with an elite motor and drive to compete. He will score with jab step threes, rip thrus, long strides thru contact, ball fakes and dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='3671769' first='Ruan' last='Kennedy'] Dream City Christian EYBL

A bigger point guard or that true point forward type handles the ball well and will find teammates in stride. He will score with tough takes to the basket inside finishing thru the contact and shoot it with threes off the catch or pull. He is a very good in transition finding a teammate or scoring layups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2754862' first='Anthony' last='Stokes'] Canyon View

A super versatile player who can play a few positions for the West Valley based team. He is a switchable defender with defending bigger forwards and then guarding point guards. He is very good in transition either dunking it on the break, scoring thru contact or shooting it from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612509' first='Jalen' last='White'] Bella Vista Prep OTE

A bigger wing forward is finally back and looked sharp. He has a pretty shooting stroke with deep threes off the catch, middy pull-ups with big time elevation making it nearly impossible to defend and score inside with some serious hang time. He will also score with tip-ins and high flying dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2961012' first='Nathan' last='Yambayamba'] Bella Vista Prep EYBL

A bigger wing forward is your classic 3 and D type. He is a catch and shoot three point type who comes with great size, long arms and the ability to also score inside with dribble drives, offensive rebound put backs and transition buckets.
