AVCTL Division 3 Preseason All League

Next up is the third division of the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League and we give you the players to know for the winter!

25-26 Standings

Augusta (8-2)

McPherson (8-2)

Buhler (7-3)

Mulvane (3-7)

Circle (3-7)

Winfield (1-9)

Preseason AVCTL Division 3 All League

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3192083' first='Eli' last='Reasoner'] of McPherson (so). Eli was the only non-senior on the first team all league group of six players honored last year. McPherson is the preseason player of the year in this league and a guy that I think has some really good potential as a top 20-25 player in his class right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='2833051' first='Keenan' last='Boldra'] of Circle (jr). A second team all league honored player as a sophomore, Boldra had some explosive stretches last year that weren't just six or seven minutes long, they were three of four games long. A go to guy that had a season high of 32 points last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2827598' first='Brody' last='Chappell'] of Augusta (jr). As a sophomore Brody was named second team all league. The 230 pound frontcourt player went at players around the basketball but also had games with multiple threes made.

Le'Gend Cyrus Riley of Winfield (soph). The high potential 2029 talent was named second team all league as a freshman. Recently listed on a roster at 6'9. Le'Gend gave his team 12.5 points and 10.3 rebounds a game last season shooting 61 percent for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2827569' first='Beckham' last='Stoops'] of Augusta (jr). A shooter that has been a two year starter when healthy and good to go, the lefty can knock down shots and can defend. Had an ankle issue last year that knocked him off the radar some but when healthy he is a weapon.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id='3770428' first='Cole' last='Cooper'] of McPherson (sr). The league Defensive Player of the Year last season in this league. This young player is such a worker, a double-double here, a lock down defensive effort there, a worker.

[player_tooltip player_id='3770423' first='John' last='Carrell'] of Augusta (sr). Carrell is a three point shooting weapon at 6'3 that will be counted on more with Brody Haskell graduated.

[player_tooltip player_id='3770431' first='Jack' last='Entwisle'] of Mulvane (sr). Mulvane stepped at times as a key scorer for Mulvane last season and this year his role will likely be the go-to guy with Lazier and Myers graduated. As the season went on Jack had more and more big games like the 25 in the win over Wellington.

[player_tooltip player_id='3770434' first='Asher' last='Zachary'] of Buhler (sr). Asher led his team in rebounding at 7.4 a game, and he scored seven points a contest last year. Asher is likely the top returning player for Buhler.

Brycen McCurdy of Buhler (jr). The 6'1 junior is the top returning scorer for Buhler at just under nine points a game. Brycen will be the main three point shooting weapon for the team.

Third Team

Landon Martinez of Buhler (jr). A junior that played a role off the bench last year, the 5'10 guard should get more time this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2829446' first='Parker' last='Kraft'] of Mulvane (jr). Kraft is a combo guard that played varsity last year as a role guy capable of playmaking and the occasional double figure game. His role should be bigger.

Eli Tagg of Winfield (jr). The 6'3 wing is likely the top returning player after Le'Gend, Tagg is a three sport athlete that scored four points with three boards a game last year as a starter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962081' first='Bishop' last='Holmes'] of Buhler (soph). A 6'3, 165 athlete with potential that is an all around athlete and is one to watch making an impact this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2477695' first='Ashton' last='Malm'] of McPherson (sr). Malm did a lot of everything in his role last year scoring three or four times a game, defending hard, rebounding some, hitting a three, moving the ball, etc.
