The 6-foot-4 Summit senior was explosive in transition, using his strength and speed to get up the floor and then finish above the rim with powerful dunks. While his leaping ability certainly drew the most attention, he got things done skillfully with good ball-handling and passing, and his perimeter shot was solid. Already holding of a roster spot offer from the Bearcats, Junkin's recruitment continues to develop and after talking to him at the event, we will be posting an update soon.

Baertsch Kovalchick has attended a number of camps and clinics this off-season and in each of them he has impressed - including at Willamette. The 6-foot-4 senior stepped up to the level of the competition both with his scoring and rebounding. Offensively he showed good balance shooting the perimeter jumper and aggressively taking it to the basket, absorbing all sorts of contact. He was very tough rebounding the basketball, especially on the offensive glass where he wasn't afraid of getting physical in the least.

Campbell continues to turn heads in each event the Willamette junior participates in. While we unfortunately missed his first game where he got hot from the perimeter and exploded for a reported 30 points, we were most impressed with his impact on the defense end. With his 6-foot-8 height and length, he not only protected the paint with his shot-blocking but often times his mere presence was enough to affect anyone driving to the hoop. He's a super-effective rim-runner, helping him get great follow-up baskets in transition but also getting back on defense to stop the break.

Baertsch Kovalchick has attended a number of camps and clinics this off-season and in each of them he has impressed - including at Willamette. The 6-foot-3 Lakeridge senior guard simply makes plays, whether it's scoring the ball, getting it to open teammates, or battling on the glass or defense. We caught up with him at the camp to chat about his recruitment and it will be posted in the near future.
