WA Freshman Showcase: Team 8 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PH Washington Freshman Showcase was last weekend and so many talented athletes came to compete for the class of 2030. So many players stood out and fought hard the whole day! Here is the evaluation for team 8</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#159 - Anthony Thompson - Kentwood HS</em></strong> - Anthony is a high level point guard who reads the court quickly and smoothly. He knocks down threes with ease, not needing much space throughout the day. Thompson knows how to use screens to his advantage creating space for his jumper or to hit the open roller down the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#191 - [player_tooltip player_id='3731601' first='Amare' last='King'] - Lake Stevens HS</strong></em> - Amare played very unselfish throughout the entire day, always making the extra pass to an open teammate. He leaked out in transition, being able to get easy buckets for his team. His high IQ shows on both ends as he makes great decisions and knows what he's going to do with it next. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#193 - [player_tooltip player_id='3729274' first='Sage' last='Brown'] - Squalicum HS</strong></em> - Sage played consistent all day, never taking a play off and hustling every single possession. He always made the extra pass, showing his unselfish play. He shot the ball nicely from deep, knocking down 3's throughout the day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#218 - [player_tooltip player_id='3543473' first='Teon' last='Morris'] - Decatur HS</em></strong> - Teon was a standout from the day as he was able to do everything on the court at an high level. He scored the ball from all 3 levels, having a really smooth mid range shot to complement his quick first step. He played solid defense too, being strong and having quick hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#688 - [player_tooltip player_id='3725917' first='Charles' last='M White'] - Eastside Catholic</strong></em> - Here is a player who is an ATHLETE. He had a big time dunk during 5v5 play to display his athleticism. He was strong on the paint and rebounded the ball well, boxing out with ease. Charles is a player to keep an her on for the 2030 class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#689 - [player_tooltip player_id='3758132' first='Grayson' last='Anderson'] - Mead HS</em></strong> - Grayson was another standout from the day. He was a high level two way player, playing some fantastic defense. He is strong in the paint and uses his body well to get rebounds or open looks on the offensive end. He had a consistent jumper too, hitting threes throughout the day with ease. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#881 - Jae'Sean Patton - Foss HS</strong></em> - Jae'Sean had a consistent three point shot / mid range shot throughout the day, having a quick release. Patton used his speed to blow by defenders and get paint touches, either finishing at the bucket or finding an open teammate. He pops off screens nicely to hit jumpers too which stood out from him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#159 - [player_tooltip player_id='3736981' first='Cash' last='Coochise'] - Mercer Island HS</em></strong> - Cash was a great guard to watch and someone who did the little things consistently throughout the day, which really stands out.
