The Expo: Team 12 Evals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Expo the other weekend was a huge success, once again. We had over 90 athletes attend the boys expo and some of the best in the 2027 and 2028 classes competed against each other. Here's the evaluation for team 12.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#41 - [player_tooltip player_id='3258633' first='Drake' last='Spooner'] - Woodinville HS</strong></em> - Drake is an extremely athletic guard who can score in a variety of ways. His mid-range game was spot on during the expo, being able to rise above defenders on his jumper and having a nice turnaround jumper to give himself space to knock it down. He gets paint touches often and finishes through contact nicely. He was a top performer from the day too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#79 - [player_tooltip player_id='2835562' first='Skylar' last='Clement'] - Curtis HS</strong></em> - Skylar displayed a beautiful shot from deep, having a nice release point and the ability to catch fire after hitting a few. Clement used his quick first step when attacking during 5v5 play too, getting paint touches often and making smooth plays. He uses his speed to defend well but has the strength to also defend opponents in the paint too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#237 - [player_tooltip player_id='3569892' first='Kendry' last='Gimlin'] - Clarkston HS</strong></em> - Kendry was a top performer throughout the day, showing his strength when getting to the rim. He did a great job at absorbing contact when going up for the finish, staying balanced and under-control. His jumper was clicking all day, as he hit mid-range shots and some shots from deep too. He defended nicely and made some great plays on the defensive end. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#329 - Tripp Davis-Ciro - Seattle Prep</em></strong> - Tripp was an excellent shooter from deep throughout the day, being able to let it fly off the catch at a high percentage. He can attack the ball well with both hands too, staying balanced and under-control while in the paint. He made a lot of hustle plays throughout the day and should be a player to keep an eye on. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#334 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140863' first='Tyson' last='Burley'] - Liberty HS</strong></em> - Tyson plays with patience and the ability to attack the ball with speed and strength. He plays off two feet inside the paint and knows when to go up for a bucket or make the extra pass to an open teammate. His IQ shows on both ends as he continued to make productive plays for his squad all day. He shot from a high percentage from deep too, knocking down shots with ease. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#312 - Jameer Harris - N/A HS</strong></em> - Harris had a great ball skills during the showcase, handling it smoothly and being able to break down defenders with ease. He moved his feet quickly on defense and was able to defend on-ball at a high level. He did a great job at hustling every possession too, flying around all over the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
