San Mateo City College Shootout

In Fall Ball teams use club names to avoid any rules violation. September 19-20 PH NorCal was there to see how our Norcal teams are coming along. He has the experience to be a key contributor on this team. He's fast with good ball handling. He has some shot creation off the dribble, has court vision, a ball mover, makes hard cuts to the basket, finishes. He's a outside/in type of prospect. With his expanded range he'll roam the perimeter, passing, cutting hard to the basket, or using the hard dribble to get to the rim. We saw the expanded range with a couple of catch and shoot 3's in the corners and wings. He's an effective post player using pump fakes and other ways to get points. An expanding skills set away from the basket, size and hops. He's handling in open court more, facilitates in half-court sets on occasion. He might pull up for short jumpers in transition or finish at the rim. Has good takes along the baseline might dunk on you, good shooting form, and range for 3-point attempts. He's a ball handler, sees the court, has good cross and up court passing, deals with ball pressure. He'll use his dribble, can hit short pull ups, maybe a floater, plays off two feet. He will take open 3ptrs. He's hard to guard in open space using his handles, foot speed, and a variety of moves to create scoring opportunities for himself and others.
