Thrash plays like a young Damon Stoudamire. Lefty with outside shooting. Caleb is very solid with the pill, but could use his strength even more when slashing. He was bigger than some defenders, but did not take advantage of it. Speedy with the dribble. Too quiet. Caleb will forever be a point guard and he can impact the game even more by talking to his troops. Dictating. Encouraging. Teenage boys can be timid bossing their peers or some are just not talkatie on the floor. Still, players look to the point guard for leadership and Thrash must provide it. Evasive with the handle. Never forces a shot.

9/27/26: Very fast with the dribble. Confident. Reynolds Jr. displayed wonderful offensive court awareness. His comfort dribbling with defenders swatting, whacking, hunting the ball was great. He can handle ball pressure. Very vocal as a defender. Perhaps the best defensive communicator all evening. Reynolds Jr. dashed up the floor in transition outpacing a couple defenders while dribbling. Defended with conviction for the entirety of the event. Reynolds Jr. showed no drop off in effort from start to finish. Houston is a program loaded with top guards. In fact, the state's #1 player [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison'] attends Houston. What will Rahkeem's role be this season? Will he learn from the veterans as he should?

9/27/26: Often the game was simply too fast for him. As one of the youngest campers in the event this can happen. Varsity-level basketball comes at you fast. With his size he will likely be a guard eventually. He was most comfortable defending the post at this event. Raw. He seemed to see what he wanted to do, but just did not make the first step quickly enough. When Clark started defending down low he did help on slashers nicely. When a teammate got beat Jace effectively and quickly helped and delayed.

9/27/26: Ezra is broader in the shoulders than he was last year. Nieves will be an important player for a Top 10 team (Brentwood HS) this season. Speedy with the dribble. Nieves' cutting to the basket is tremendous. He drives with a purpose and wastes no movement getting to the backboard. Mobility was a strength last year and he clearly continued on that same trajecetory. Ezra did not take many outside shots on the day, but he did not need to. His path to the hoop was rarely slowed meaningfully.

9/27/26: Big-bodied forward. Ethan wants to be a wing, but needs to guard the post at this stage in his development. That may change. Unselfish. Likes to pass. Fitness is improving, but can always get better. Krueger was one of the stronger sophomore dudes in the building. Ethan showed some nice footwork under the rim. He could be a problem as a high school forward at the 4A level. The problem is he can't be a 6-foot-4 college big, so that evolution must occur eventually. Left-handed. At times his shot can come out flat. More arc.

9/27/26: Gritty. Undersized guard. Savage hunted contact and showed no timidity in the lane. Savage played to handsy as a defender. He must slide his feet and also develop some chest strength to play legit varsity defense. If/when he grows he will be a problem at the high school level. The skills are there as a young guard.
