Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of point/combo guards who we watched at The Lou Next Top 100 Camp, which was held at the Center of St. Louis Sports. The camp featured 100 of the top Class of 2031 players in the Midwest region. Aiden Garner: A 5'11" point guard from St. Ann Catholic who is a smooth offensive player who can score at all three levels. He creates off the dribble well and he can shoot it from 3-point range. We also liked how he fought over the top of screens on the defensive end. [player_tooltip player_id='3665482' first='Cades' last='Cody-Jackson']: A talented 5'8" point guard who is a three-level scorer with excellent playmaking skills. He has good quickness and physical strength to score in the lane through contact. Riley Stewart: A 5'3" point guard from Hazelwood North Middle who was one of the smallest players there, but he was full of heart and toughness. He has excellent speed and he could finish in the lane. He also competed hard on the defensive end with his constant on-ball pressure. [player_tooltip player_id='3586903' first='Max' last='Cherepkai']: A 5'8" combo guard from Roxana (IL) who can really shoot it from 3-point range. He handles the ball well and he has a nice feel for the game. He comes from a family of talented guards from Roxana. Luke Mauzey: A 5'4" point guard from St. Gerard who is a dependable playmaker who can handle and distribute the basketball. He did a good job of changing speeds against defensive pressure. He can also shoot it well from the perimeter.
