Freshman Showcase: All Showcase (Pt 2)

This year's Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase had an incredible turnout, with nearly 80 incoming freshman showing up at the Auburn Fieldhouse to get after it. After taking in the live games and rewatching the film, we've decided to highlight 12 players as our All-Showcase performers. Here are the final six of the All-Showcase selections (in no particular order).    Blake was a big standout from the day, showcasing his elite abilities to put the ball in the basket. He used his strong frame to get to his spots and was able to stay under control to get his shot off. He played off two in the paint nicely, getting his release point above defenders with ease. He finished through contact nicely in the paint too, using his strength to his advantage. His game is advanced for being just a freshman, he's one to keep an eye on.     Kellen impressed all day with his ability to attack open gaps in the defense and get tough buckets in the paint often. He played off two feet too, staying fundamental and being an offensive threat during 5v5 play. McDaniel's jumper was smooth as he hit multiple threes and some pull-up mid range shots.     Grayson was extremely efficient throughout the day, getting to the rim frequently and being able to finish at a high percentage. His mid-range game was also efficient as he was able to find his rhythm. He is athletic too, showcasing his ability to defend all 5 positions during 5v5 play. He has a bright future on the court and is a 2030 to remember.     Teon's offensive game looked very well rounded throughout the day. He attacked the rim during 3v3 play with ease, blowing by defenders and using his variety of moves to get open. His three point shot was excellent too, as he frequently drained shots with defenders in his face. He pushed the pace in transition to get easy looks and can rise above the rim to provide an energy spark for his squad.     Kaedyn was one of the best guards from the showcase. He has fantastic point guard instincts, finding his open teammate with quick and accurate passes. Maze can score the ball at a high level too, being able to break down opposing players with his dribble and get to the bucket. Maze's shot from deep was consistent all day too as he never lost confidence to let it fly.     Jayden was a dominant force in the paint all day long with not many players being able to match his strength. He sealed opponents well to get open and displayed smooth footwork to get open looks in the paint. He did knock down a couple deep shots too so defenders had to stay aware. Everett protected the paint on the defensive side of the ball, getting blocks and grabbing rebounds with ease by utilizing his strength and size.
