EXPO 2026: 4th Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saturday, September 5th&nbsp;<strong>Prep Hoops Arizona</strong>&nbsp;had the annual&nbsp;<strong>EXPO Showcase</strong>&nbsp;which was hosted at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ. We had 64 players from the 2027-2029 classes who were competing in a few games of 5 on 5.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This article is&nbsp;<strong>not a prospect ranking</strong>&nbsp;but how productive they were at the camp when I viewed them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here is the 4th Team</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2953146' first='Madden' last='Bray'] Campo Verde</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A highly skilled combo guard can score it from mid to the three point line. He has a sharp pull-up and it is very polished plus he likes using runners and floaters. He is also a good passer as he plays with a nice pace to the game with a cerebral approach.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2571600' first='Michael' last='Brogdon'] Centennial</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A wing forward with toughness. He is a little undersized but gets downhill with a burst and will score it in heavy traffic with crafty takes. He does not mind the contact and will score with reverse layups and smartly moves without the ball. He can defend a couple positions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3447399' first='Tavion' last='Butler'] Canyon View</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An undersized point guard is quick on quick. He is a very good passer with a slick yo-yo handle. He is tougher then he appears and is hyper competitive on defense with his quicker feet and hands. He will score with jumpers and downhill takes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3753772' first='Tralvis' last='Edmond'] Sierra Linda (Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another undersized point guard with some serious quickness. He is very skilled and the newcomer for me can score with downhill bursts with advanced body control, mid-range jumpers and threes off the catch or pull. He is also a pest on the ball defensively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2785907' first='Jackson' last='Hefferon'] Deer Valley</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A highly skilled scoring point guard with a big IQ. He will hit the three off the catch in the corner with a pretty stroke. He can create some separation and space with his tighter handle to get his shot off. He is crafty and smart with the rock and very scrappy on defense with quick feet. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2835726' first='Brock' last='Hope'] Goliath</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A massive post player is built like a left tackle in football. He has good girth and real strength, a longer reach and height. He gobbles up all boards with his physical attributes and will score with offensive rebound put backs, drop steps and dominate the painted area.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3492890' first='Sebastian' last='Marrufo'] Paradise Honors</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scoring guard is a tad undersized but plays with a huge motor to compete. He will score with floaters, perimeter jumpers and is competitive on both ends of the court to rebound. He seems to get to the free throw line at will and is always around the ball to board. A true two-way player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2149115' first='Marcus' last='McCaster Jr'] Phhoenix Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong and stocky scoring guard with real skill. He will score it with threes off the catch or pull, mid-range pull-ups off the dribble, which seems to be his sweet spot and the strong framed guard can dribble drive to get downhill and take a bump well. He is tough on the ball defensively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2767677' first='Caleb' last='Sibley'] Canyon View</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A true combo guard who can score it easily and make players around him better. He is a good passer up the court on a rope with an unselfish nature and will put points on the board with his quickness and elusiveness to get downhill after a nice burst to get to his spots and to the cup. He likes the floater game and will pull-up from mid to the three. He is a good defender as he had multiple blocks and rebounds out of his area. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
