EXPO 2026: 3rd Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saturday, September 5th&nbsp;<strong>Prep Hoops Arizona</strong>&nbsp;had the annual&nbsp;<strong>EXPO Showcase</strong>&nbsp;which was hosted at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ. We had 64 players from the 2027-2029 classes who were competing in a few games of 5 on 5.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This article is&nbsp;<strong>not a prospect ranking</strong>&nbsp;but how productive they were at the camp when I viewed them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here is the 3rd Team</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3759850' first='Ruei' last='Duang'] Goliath</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A newcomer for me is a fluid power forward who has a nice inside and out game. He can get downhill with long stepping euros and score off of offensive rebound put backs, as he crashes the glass well but then will also step out and shoot the three with some consistency.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2365144' first='Cameron' last='Koehler'] Casteel</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A good sized combo guard with high skill level and a fluid handle. He will score it with threes off the catch, he smartly cuts off the ball for layups and he is quicker then he appears to get to the basket with his handle. He will get into the paint and drive and kick it and he should have a big year for the Colts.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2853933' first='Trey' last='McClure'] AZ Compass Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A tough wing forward who is athletic and is showing off more skill level then last year. He will score with dunks on the break and has a nice layup package to take it coast to coast. He will also shoot it with mid-range pull-ups and threes off the catch.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3142053' first='Jesse' last='Onuh'] Liberty</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A super athletic wing forward is a natural multiple positional defender. He uses his twitch, bounce and length to keep his opponents in front of him. He will block shots and rip pockets on the norm. He will score with dunks on break and take it off the glass and will take it the length of the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3625907' first='Chace' last='Parkhill'] Notre Dame Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another newcomer for me is a real point guard with a tighter handle. He is very smart and cerebral. He threw great lob passes and some needle threaders when I viewed him. He is quick on the ball defensively and rebounds well despite his size. He will score with quick drives and catch threes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3625658' first='Jayden' last='Porter'] Centennial&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger sized point guard loves to spray the ball around to his teammates. He was easily the most unselfish player at the camp diming his shooters and bigs. He can still score with threes off the catch or pull, offensive rebound put backs and take it coast to coast with his nice handle inside.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2899125' first='Jeremiah' last='Rasdall'] Ascending Life Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A bigger scoring guard is a 3 and D type. He is a deep three point shooter with real range and gets it off his hands quickly. He is a sneaky good athlete and he will block shots and moves well in space to keep his opponents in front of him.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2692796' first='Ezra' last='Sander'] Higley (Pictured) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A rare five man with good girth and soft hands. He will score with the pick and roll action, offensive rebound put backs and knows how to seal his man and go to work. He takes up a lot of space to board with his positioning and sets strong picks. He also outlets the ball well up the court.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2574799' first='Quinton' last='Tillmon III'] Westview</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scoring point guard is a walking bucket. He puts a ton of pressure on defenses with his quick first step and strong left hand to get to the basket with floaters and nice layup package. He will hit the three and pull from mid-range. He is quick on defense and is a good passer in the post.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
