The Prep Hoops Alabama Expo provided a closer look at six prospects who contributed through perimeter shooting, dribble-drive offense, and activity in the open floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2194487' first='Deonte' last='Jiles'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3690021' first='Chris' last='Lee'] showed multiple scoring options while creating opportunities for teammates, and Kaiden Hills brought involvement on both ends through rebounding, finishing, and playmaking. [player_tooltip player_id='2892186' first='Sam' last='Myers'] supplied three-ball value, while [player_tooltip player_id='3773268' first='Doc' last='McIntyre'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3514530' first='Grady' last='Brown'] offered glimpses of their offensive tools through a downhill attack and pull-up scoring, respectively. This breakdown examines what each player showed, with attention to the skills worth tracking and the next steps in their development…

Kaiden is a left-handed prospect who showed several ways to keep a possession moving. He rebounded defensively, participated in the break, and finished both in transition and off the dribble. His assists added a playmaking component, while the three ball supplies perimeter scoring value. Steals also appeared in his defensive activity, giving him ability to contribute on both ends. He has a range of actions that allows him to provide scoring production outside of just one isolated scoring skill. Continued development in his pace and decisions against help will connect his flashes into a more dependable offensive role.

Doc showed an ability to get downhill with his handle, using a crossover dribble into his drive to create a layup, and it was plays like this that drew attention to his game. He also added defensive rebounding, helping his team to finish possessions at the other end. His offensive action is encouraging because he showed ways to move his defender, create space, and get to the basket. He is young prospect worth monitoring his growth.

Grady contributed with his middle game and on the defensive boards. Both are useful pieces, for a young budding prospect. He showed some signs but I need for Grady to be more assertive and look for ways to bring repeatable separation into his pull-up game, decision making when his shot is challenged and he is forced to put the rock on the floor, and sustained rebounding involvement.

Deonte who is now at Gardendale, showed a scoring package that could work on the catch, off the bounce, and in the open floor. He connected on spot-up and pull-up threes, then attacked coast-to-coast and finished with layups and a dunk. That combination forced the defense to account for more than one type of scoring attempt. He also rebounded, dropped dimes, and generated steals, keeping his contribution connected to the overall action. His offensive versatility stood out and he is continuing to sharpen shot selection and the reads after help arrives.

Chris showed a productive guard package that blended shooting, scoring inside the arc, and playmaking in transition. Multiple threes gave him floor-spacing value, while layups and pull-up jumpers provided additional ways to finish. He also led breaks and found teammates, showing that he could use the open floor to create more than his own shot. Steals added a defensive contribution and another way to generate pace.

Same provided perimeter scoring with multiple made threes and converted and-ones. The perimeter shooting gave his team an option outside the paint and required defensive attention behind the arc. His production centers on shot-making as he consistently creates or finds quality attempts. he is a young prospect who must be accounted for at all times when he is on the floor.
