2026 PrepHoops Oregon Expo - Team One Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Expo took place last Saturday and this week, we will take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player. Here's a look at Team 1.    Brian was an effective rim-running forward with a soft touch around the basket. He consistently put himself in a good position to score and is a solid rebounder who competed on the glass. Brian led all scorers in the game we watched with 21 points, showing his ability to produce offensively. He also appeared coachable and responsive to instruction, with a solid foundation to continue developing his overall game.     Hudson showed he is a hardworking combo guard who brought solid effort and energy to the floor. He is a capable outside shooter who can provide spacing and knock down shots when given opportunities. His work ethic and willingness to contribute in different areas give him a solid foundation to continue developing his overall game.     Hurley a left-handed guard knocked down shots from the perimeter and created with the ball in his hands. He attacked the rim well and played with good energy on both ends of the floor. Hurley isn't afraid to get on the floor for loose balls and competes for extra possessions. His combination of shooting, ball handling, and aggressiveness made him an intriguing guard to watch.     He is an athletic and versatile guard who impacted the game in several ways. Jakai is a quick slasher who attacks the rim aggressively and has the athleticism to play above the rim. Pippa-White is also a capable three-level scorer and a good rebounder who stays active on the glass. His combination of versatility, scoring ability, and athleticism mades him one of the top combo guards at The Expo.     Abbott is an athletic and shifty combo guard who brings good energy to the floor. He is a hard worker and team player who stays involved on both ends of the court. Abbott is also vocal, communicating with teammates and providing a steady presence on the floor. His quickness and athleticism, gave him a solid foundation to continue developing his overall game.     A 6'5 forward with good size and athleticism who made an impact on both ends of the floor. He has a defensive-minded approach, used his length and athletic ability to protect the rim and challenge shots. Woods is also a good rebounder who stays active on the glass. Offensively, he attacks the rim well and uses his physical tools effectively around the basket.     Zach, a 6'1 guard who showed good potential with his combination of quickness and perimeter shooting. He is a capable outside shooter who can provide spacing and knock down shots from beyond the arc. Kemp played within the flow of the offense and brought a team-first approach to the floor.     Wilson was a hardworking and competitive player who impacted the game with his effort. He competed on the glass, consistently battled for rebounds. Defensively, Wilson is a solid on-ball defender who stayed active and competed with his matchup. He played within the team and brought good energy to the floor. Wilson stood out as one of the top small-school prospects we watched and is an intriguing player to continue following.     Flores is a 5'11 combo guard who showed a team-first approach and good effort during the limited action we saw. He is a hard worker who played within the flow of the offense and looks to contribute wherever needed. While we didn't get an extended look at his overall game, Flores showed some potential and has a solid foundation to continue developing as a guard.
