2026 PrepHoops Oregon Expo - Team Eight Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Expo took place last Saturday and this week, we will take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player. Here's a look at Team 8.    #42 - Lead guard with good size at 6-foot-3. Showed good balance between driving the ball to the basket or looking to shoot from the perimeter. Got really hot at the end of the team's last game, hitting three in a row from deep to close out the game. Showed good motor on the defensive end.     #60 - Strong, physical wing at 6-foot-2. Bread and butter was using his strength and physicality to overpower defenders to the basket and scoring over and around them. Solid perimeter jumper when left open. Active defender who guarded multiple positions.     #63 - Versatile combo guard at 6-foot-1. Handled ball pressure well and constantly looked to get teammates involved. Took the open shot when it was available. Showed good hustle with his on-the-ball D and rebounded well for his size, especially on the defensive glass.     #73 - Lanky swingman at 6-foot-4. Played both inside and outside on both ends of the floor, largely looking to make the extra pass to get teammates involved. Took the jumper when it was given to him and showed off pretty nice form. Ran the floor well and was active as a rebounder and defender.     #91 - Sharp-shooting 6-foot-1 wing from Northern California. Nice compact and quick release on his shot, specialized in spotting up and knocking down open shots from kick-outs from all spots beyond the three-point line. Caught fire in the team's final game, hitting four straight from distance right after entering the game.     #107 - Long and lanky big-man at 6-foot-7. Offensively much more comfortable facing the basket, where he used his good shooting stroke to knock down shots outside the three-point line. Capably finished some rim runs, running the floor like a guard. Was a defensive factor with his length and shot-blocking both in the paint and closing out on perimeter shooters.     #113 - Strong, under-sized post at 6-foot-5. One of the few true posts at the event, the junior set up shop down low and was able to show off his good hands and feet. Solid footwork and positioning helped him get clean looks at the basket, where he finished with a soft touch. Was particularly effective with a spin move going to his left. Able to face the basket and hit from mid-range as well.     #302 - Solid all-around guard at 5-foot-11. Team-oriented player who looked to make the extra pass, take the shot when it was given to him, and play hard on the defensive end. Good strength and wasn't afraid to get physical.     #306 - Quick 5-foot-8 point guard. Aggressive in attacking off the dribble and wasn't afraid to drive amongst the trees in order to create, often drawing the foul on shot attempts. Capably found teammates for scores both inside and on the perimeter and pushed the pace on the break.     #312 - Energetic combo guard at 6-foot-1. Really only played in the team's first game, scoring a couple of buckets on a tough finish inside and another layup on the break. Solid frame and athleticism and looked to make plays on both ends of the floor.     #377 - Lanky perimeter player at 6-foot-4. Versatile defender, capable of guarding multiple positions both in the front and back courts, using his length to disrupt passing lanes. Capably knocked down open jumpers with range but looked more to create off the dribble and finish with floaters or at the basket. Quick leaper who kept the ball alive on the offensive boards.
