The Follow Me Top 40 Camp gave me a good look at several players who brought shot-making, rim pressure, decision-making, and competitive activity. In camp settings, I am not just watching who scores; I am watching who plays with their eyes up, who creates easy offense, who makes the right read, who defends, and who has traits that can travel into a team setting. These players showed pieces worth tracking, whether it was guard skill, transition playmaking, downhill pressure, or the ability to affect possessions in more than one way.

Cray is an off guard with positional size and showed pace, feel, and the ability to advance the ball early as he had the ball in his hands often initiating the offense. He was at his best when he played with his eyes up and looked to get the ball up the floor before the defense could get set, which was not very hard in the camp setting as transition defense was at a minimum. His early decisions created easy offense. What also stood out was his willingness to turn rebounds, outlets, and loose transition moments into pressure possessions. When he played fast and under control, he put teammates in rhythm with quality looks.

Kaleb is a wing who flashed a scoring profile that touched both the rim and the three-point line. He proved that he can threaten multiple levels and because of that he was tough to defend. His ability to finish inside, along with his perimeter confidence to knock down the three showed his scoring versatility. He attacks the rim with purpose, makes solid reads when help rotates, and showed a loaded scoring bag.

Ethan is a small guard who is extremely tough and showed a strong PG IQ. He was really good at creating off the bounce and living in the paint. Despite being a lead guard he looked comfortable getting into shots and showed shot-making ability. He was really good at creating space, rising into a pull-up, and making defenders pay. If he can continue to show that he can create room against length and get to his spots without over-dribbling he is going to be a reliable lead guard this upcoming season.

Aiden is a wing who showed shot-making confidence. He was able to get to his areas and convert tough looks. A lot of players in the camp needed everything created for them, but Aiden showed scoring feel and a knack for finding his own rhythm and to create offense. His offensive value was evident as he paired his scoring prowess with god pace, solid decision making, and a smart shot selection. The best version of Aiden was seen when he knew to hunt, when to move it, and when to attack the advantage.

Miles is a combo guard who affected the game in multiple areas, and that is what made his play impactful. He showed a two-way impact as he guarded the ball, showed playmaking value, got into his midi, and stayed active enough on the glass to create points on put-backs. He is one of the few that throughout the day found different ways to impact possessions. He made winning plays and did not have to be locked into one lane to affect the game

Maddox is a lead guard who was aggressive throughout the day and really put pressure on the rim with his ability to get downhill. His paint touches caused the defense to bend, and as often as he was getting into the paint he was consistently forcing help, spraying to open teammates and changing the spacing of the possession. He is a small guard but he showed solid decision making and the ability to absorb contact and finish with balance. He has good vision as he sees help early and has the knowledge and skill to make the next play.
