Sparrow is one of the best athletes in the state, and he is currently a 5-star wide receiver on the football field. Sparrow should be a 15 PPG scorer next season, but you get a two-way guard who can defend speed and strength. He does a really good job rebounding and disrupting other teams' offense. He will be a key player to stop and a key player for Davis if they want to win Region 1.

Barney is another player that you need to keep an eye on, as he is a CG who can play the lead guard, and he can shoot the ball well off the ball. Barney has been able to showcase his rise over the past year or so. With his ability to hit open shots and stretch the floor, he becomes a commodity when he is in. Barney does get after it defensively as well. Davis will be able to put in a lot of two-way playing guards in various lineups this coming season, which makes them tough.

Farmington

Rudolph is a great player coming back for Farmington, and with them bringing back three of their top scorers, they might be among the deepest teams in 6A. Look for Rudolph to improve on his 11 PPG this past season and also be in the 5 RPG area as well. He is athletic, and he is strong. There are times when he can get out in front of the pack and get easy buckets. Rudolph could be hard to stop.

Look for Tobler to have an explosive year and some explosive games. He is a player who gets going, and when he picks things up in transition, he is going to give you some high-percentage plays. Tobler shoots the ball well, and he has range. He could really get his average up this coming season from 15 PPG to 18 PPG.

Layton

Curious what teams will draw up to try and stop this kid, because what a lot of teams did last year did not work. Miller averaged 22 PPG this past season, and some of his biggest games were against region opponents. Miller is in the mix for top scorers this coming season.

Thompson is a player who is intriguing. He brings size to the floor, and that is much needed to compete in this region. Thompson could be among the players that increases their statistical contribution more than anyone on the team this coming season. He is a player to watch with some next-level skill set.

Syracuse

Hoenigman is one of the top scorers in the state, coming back after he put up nearly 20 PPG this past season. One piece of news that will not be good for everyone is that he has gotten better. He will be more consistent and look for his percentages to go up. Colton plays with a really good pace, and that is just one aspect of his game that makes him a good college prospect.

Godderidge is on our list to watch of players that could move up the rankings in a hurry this coming season. He has already shown improvements, and there is no reason he can't be among the top players on this Syracuse team.

Weber

Potokar hit 40 three-pointers this past season, and Weber will need some more of that Potokar needs to average 3+ three-pointers a game this coming season. He is a guard who is off the radar and could have a solid season.

Devries could be a player that makes a significant glow-up in his game. Devries, when healthy, can do a little bit of everything. Devries is a Swiss Army knife, and that is what he will need to do to help Weber win games this coming season. Devries is another elite athlete who plays football and basketball.
