Lewis & Clark Men's Basketball held its first elite camp in 2026 on Sunday where new head coach Cory Coombe and his assistants helped lead and teach a group of collegiate prospects on campus at Stoller Gymnasium. While the overall attendance was on the smaller side, the competition was intense as players - the majority of whom were from in-state - were hoping to continue developing their skills and make an impression on the River Otters coaching staff. We had the opportunity to watch the majority of camp and here are some of the other players from Oregon who were in attendance.

Despite playing at a 1A school, Thomas has never been afraid to go up against top competition so he was just fine at Lewis & Clark Camp. He was physical from the jump and consistently looked to attack the basket and power his way to the hoop for a number of finishes. Thanks to his aggressiveness and motor that also led to a number of offensive rebound putback attempts, either from his own misses or those of others. He's definitely one of the top players to watch in the 1A class next season.

One of the youngest players in attendance, Christensen more than held his own against the rising juniors and seniors on the floor. He's a solid shooter and scorer that made the most out of the limited opportunities he got with the basketball in his hands during 5x5 play. He shot the ball at a high percentage from both the mid-range and behind the arc, showing a nice smooth stroke on his shot.

One thing you could count on from Stewart was hustle and desire. The rising Aloha senior guard was constantly in motion on both ends of the floor, often times one of the first players up the floor on the break and one of the first back on defense. Because of his energy level he often got his hands on loose balls and was able to score some garbage points as a result.

Church Bridges didn't get a ton of opportunities in 5x5 play but when he got the ball in his hands, he looked to make things happen. The rising senior lefty largely looked for his shot from the perimeter and was able to knock down some open shots. Long and lanky, his effort on the defensive end helped create some turnovers and in general, he showed he was coachable and willing to improve. With his positional size and length it would not surprise us to see him be a major impact player at the 1A level at St. Paul next season.
