Georgia Freshman Showcase Standouts

He made scoring on all 3 levels look effortless using his long reach, pace of play, and competitiveness to score around the rim. No one had an answer for him on the defensive end as he attacked the cup and got whatever he wanted. He knocked down mid range jumpers off the bounce as well stopping on a dime to pull up over shorter defenders. You can tell by how comfortable he already is that he could be a varsity contributor as an under classman when buckets are needed. He is an extremely valuable floor spacer who is ready to fire it up whenever he catches. Kilby also showed the ability to attack closeouts and use floaters as well as play off two around the rim to score. With a quick trigger and high release point he is able to get off long range jumpers without a whole lot of space. He will let it fly from just about anywhere and is a dangerous threat from deep, creating valuable floor spacing to his team when he is on the court. Hollingsworth showed some solid scoring ability from in the post as well making several back to the basket moves to score inside and draw double teams. A long wing who can really get to the rack and score above the rim using his athleticism to extend over interior defenders. He jumps off the page as a guy who really has a high ceiling with his athletic build and constant effort on both ends of the floor. His strength and long frame give him the ability to play multiple positions on both sides of the ball and make him a valuable scorer who can put a ton of pressure on both transition and interior defenses. Dennis showed glimpses of being a guy who can also knock it down from deep, knocking down a few from long range and showing confidence even on ones that didn't find net. As he continues to grow and improve his outside game he could be a dangerous scorer for the next four years over at Troup High School. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
