Futures of NORCAL Showcase: 2030 Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Future of NORCAL BASKETBALL, an annual showcase presented by Simply Basketball and others. On Sunday August 23rd we got a look at incoming Freshman for the Class of 2030. PH NorCal was at Oakland Tech High School in Oakland, CA. He did some handling up top, showed he could handle and attack from different angles, deal with the contact finishing around the rim. He has court vision with good passing, had multiple assists on the drive and dish. He's lengthy not afraid to challenge shot blockers. He's got a few moves to get his shot off the dribble. He hit a lil fade away jumper, then a spin move with balance to finish around the rim. He helps rebound, fills the lane in transition. He's lengthy with long arms to defend. He's an aggressive guard with a solid body, a good ball handler looking to assert himself when the opportunity arises. He goes hard and strong, kind of fearless attacking the basket off the dribble along the perimeter, and in transition absorbing contact. He showed he could put points on the board in a variety of ways. He dropped catch 3's from various spot. Standing 5'8, he shield and protects the ball, finding various ways to get his shot off over taller players on the drive including floaters, high off the glass layups, and stop and pop mid-range jumpers. He had good efficiency. He's difficult to stay in front. He has the tools to run the offense, court vision, a ball mover. He got multiple steals stripping bigs going down to help on defense.
