August Under the Radar Prospects

He gets himself open and is ready to shoot the ball when he has it dished to him. He works effectively in the paint on both ends of the floor. Meanwhile, he is the type of forward who can step out beyond the three-point line and consistently drain the deep shot. He is a player to watch out for on both ends of the floor and one who should do well this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2627796' first='Deshawn' last='Boss Jr.']-Combo Guard-Little Rock Mills-6'1” 2028</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Deshawn Boss Jr has tremendous versatility on both ends of the floor. He is able to play multiple positions on the floor. He translates that ability to the defensive side of the floor and can cause problems for forwards as well as guards. Boss Jr's offensive game is continuing to evolve but he has proven to be a defender who can cause plenty of problems for opposing players this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2412155' first='Christian' last='Washington']-Point Guard-Little Rock Parkview-5'8” 2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2412155' first='Christian' last='Washington'] does a great job of controlling the tempo on the floor. He knows when to play aggressively and when to be a bit more deliberate. Washington uses the dribble well to break down opposing defenders. Washington is a prospect who looks to make the extra pass to the open shooter. The Little Rock Parkview guard has the potential to have a big season for the Patriots when the season fires up in a couple of months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3603046' first='Tre' last='Williams']-Point Guard/Shooting Guard-Hot Springs Lakeside-5'11” 2029</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Hot Springs Lakeside guard is a versatile player who can play either backcourt position and not lose any effectiveness. Williams has the range to connect on jumpers from all three levels of the floor. He is an unselfish player with he ball in his hands. Williams has no problem making the extra pass for easy points.
