2028 Updated Rankings: Five Newcomers on the Radar

These prospects earned their way onto the board with impressive performances and continued development over the past several months. Here is a closer look at five juniors making their debut in our updated rankings.    Connor is a high academic prospect with good positional size and a versatile offensive skill set. He is a reliable perimeter shot maker with deep range and has the ability to score at all three levels, including attacking the rim off the dribble. Connor plays with a high basketball IQ and consistently finds ways to impact the game beyond scoring. He averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game for the SEBA Warriors this season, showcasing his ability to contribute both as a scorer and on the glass.     Garstang is a developing 6'8 big man with good touch around the basket and the ability to rebound effectively in his area. His athleticism and mobility continue to improve, allowing him to become increasingly productive on both ends of the floor. With size always at a premium at the next level, Garstang is a junior prospect college coaches will want to continue tracking over the next two years.     Another Greenbrier product, Reed is an aggressive, attacking guard who consistently looks to put pressure on the defense. He has above average quickness and is effective getting downhill off the dribble and finishing in the paint. Reed is especially dangerous in transition, where he uses his speed and athleticism to attack before the defense is set. He also contributes on the glass, showing the ability to rebound effectively from the perimeter.     Brock is an attacking guard who is comfortable playing with or without the ball in his hands for Newton. He has above average quickness and an impressive command of the basketball, allowing him to consistently create advantages off the dribble. Brock is effective getting into the paint, where he is a creative finisher who can convert around length and through traffic.     Brown is a speedy lead guard with good ball skills and the ability to consistently put pressure on the defense. He is a creative finisher in the paint and uses his quickness effectively to get downhill and create scoring opportunities. Brown also brings consistent activity on the defensive end, where he can pressure opposing guards and disrupt the flow of the offense. His speed and energy allow him to change the pace of the game on both ends of the floor.
