2028 Standouts at High Academic Showcase

He's good playing all around basketball while he sharpens and expands his skill set, and gets a stronger body. He gives good effort on the defensive side of the ball. He's an improving rebounder, has court vision, good form shooting 3's. He's steadily improving with ball in hands, handling, passing. Making the transition from JV to Varsity. Banks had an eye opening Spring and Summer playing well at Section 7, and Cali-Live. He looks ready to be a solid contributor starting or coming off the bench. He has the tools you want your point guard to have, handles, speed, court vision. He's fast point guard always in attack mode, can be just as effective off ball. His quality handles, and determination to get by defenders from different angles makes him hard to guard. He keeps his dribble live, can stop and pop a mid-range, or hit the 3-pointer after freezing defenders. Truhar played well in the Spring and Summer 16U against quality competition. He's a solid body can be effective attacking the basket in transition, or along the perimeter. He's a good ball handler, ball mover, makes cuts to finish around the basket. He can hit the free throw jumper, use a dribble or two to get to the rim, he's shown 3pt range. He has the body to mix it up going for rebounds, and defending. He's an intriguing prospect, a good athlete. Johnson has the tools to contribute in different ways on both ends of the ball. His points will come in the flow, transition, or along the perimeter using his handles, and solid body to finish around the basket.
