2026 PH Oregon Freshman Showcase - Team Ten Scouting Report

The PrepHoops Oregon Freshman Showcase took place on Sunday, and this week we will take a look at our scouting notes for each roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player by player. Here's a look at Team Ten:    Tyrus stood out as one of the top offensive players in the game we watched, leading all scorers with 17 points. He is a skilled ball handler with a quick first step that allowed him to get past defenders and attack the rim. Saepharn showed his versatility as both a slasher and outside shooter, making him a difficult matchup for defenders. His ability to create off the dribble and score from multiple areas of the floor stood out throughout the game.     Berkeley showed his ability as a quick point guard who can put pressure on the defense with the ball in his hands. He used his speed and quickness to attack the rim, get into the paint, and create opportunities within the offense. Tran's ability to handle the point and consistently play downhill made him an effective presence in the backcourt.     Ruirie showed some promising qualities in the limited action we saw. He is a good athlete who plays hard and brings a team-first approach to the floor. Ruirie's effort, athleticism, and willingness to contribute stood out and gave him a solid foundation to continue developing.     Ali was an all-around scorer who created offense in a variety of ways. He consistently attacked the rim and isn't afraid to play through contact, showing toughness and aggressiveness when getting downhill. Ali's ability to put pressure on the defense and finish in traffic made him a reliable scoring threat.     Tesfa showed his value as a patient, pass-first ball handler who looked to involve his teammates. He played with control and let the offense develop rather than forcing opportunities.     Larson showed some promising qualities with his team-first approach and strong work ethic. He played hard, stayed engaged, and looked willing to do the little things to help his team. Larson has potential to continue developing his overall game, and his effort and willingness to contribute give him a solid foundation to build on.     Elijah showed his versatility as an offensive threat who impacted the game in several ways. He is a capable outside shooter and slasher who played well in transition and consistently pressured the defense. Foutalli also operates effectively in the pick-and-roll, making composed decisions and taking good care of the ball when it is in his hands.     Reyes is a crafty scorer who can create offense from all three levels of the floor. He showed the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter, score in the midrange, and find ways to finish around the basket. Reyes is especially dangerous when given space, as he can make defenses pay for leaving him open.
