Recruiting: 2026 Rio Rancho G/F Commits to NMJC

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2026 Rio Rancho G/F <strong>Cayden Richardson</strong> has decided where he will play his college basketball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6-foot-5 Richardson committed to New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, NM this past weekend. Former Logan standout Hayden Bruhn recently committed to the University of the Southwest, also in Hobbs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Richardson was also offered by New Mexico Highlands, Southwestern Community College, Hartnell College and Southeastern Arkansas College.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Richardson helped lead the Rams to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state tournament in March. He averaged about 12 points and 5 rebounds per game as a senior for a Rams team that was extremely balanced.
