Prep Hoops Indiana 2027 Rankings - Watch List Names to Know

Ahead the two upcoming live periods, and coming off a busy spring and month of July in the gym, we have updated and expanded our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 prospect rankings. We now feature a Top 150 with nearly 550 total prospects in the database. As always, we strive to do more than just blast out a rankings update for clicks and subscriptions. We dive deeper highlighting stock-risers, new names, Watch List standouts, and much more. The Class of 2027 is deep enough that there are more than 150 college-level players meaning there are some real prospects that are not ranked. Here are some of the top names from the Watch List that college coaches should keep an eye on this summer and going into their season seasons.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    Sometimes, even for rising seniors, we just simply seen a guy enough to have an excellent evaluation. Bridgeman Jr. is one of those guys who has probably fallen through the cracks a bit. His talent and upside are very clear. He is an athletic, mobile, 6'6" forward that can finish above the rim and block shots at a high level defensively. There were some impressive flashes through the spring with Team Soil on the UA Rise Circuit. Long, athletic, 6'6" forwards are always in style at the small college level. This South Bend Washington High School rising senior should continue to attract college attention over the next several months.     There is a list of schools that I, only half jokingly, share with college coaches as "places where the players won't get you fired." I'm not going to divulge that list publicly, but it is safe to say Carmel High School is on the list. If you make it through their feeder program and eventually are in the rotation playing varsity basketball it almost always means you can play college basketball somewhere. Cole has some positional size and physical tools on the perimeter as a 6'4" guard/wing. He shoots it well when open and can attack closeouts to his right hand. Small college programs should continue to evaluate him this summer and into his senior season with the Greyhounds.     Brebeuf Jesuit was good enough in the month of June that many of their rising seniors, even those who had been more under-the-radar, jumped onto the list of some small college coaches. Edmundson would be one of those guys. He is a 6'5" wing with some fluid athleticism and intriguing catch-and-shoot ability. Edmundson had a solid junior season for the Braves, but looks ready to step into an even larger role now as a senior. College coaches should be making a point to see him playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] White before the summer is over.     Size is always in style and Harvey is a big body inside. New Albany has a ton of talent, but this 6'7" center is starting to make a name for himself this summer and has already picked up a couple of small college offers. Harvey has a soft touch as a finisher inside and is capable as a rebounder in his area. When he gets set on the block it is hard to keep him from getting a deep post catch. College programs should continue monitoring him closely.     Sometimes it takes players a while at a place like Noblesville High School to break through and really get their opportunity to shine. The Millers graduated two Division I guards last season and now Kirk is ready, as a rising senior, to be a main guy in the backcourt. He has looked the part this summer in a couple of viewings knocking down three-point shots consistently. Kirk is a guy that has been on our radar for a long time, but now he should get a chance to showcase his skills in a larger role at Noblesville. He is a solid potential under-the-radar guard from small college coaches to know.     We had the chance to see Plisky for the first in May and he immediately caught our attention as an under-the-radar prospect from Evansville Central High School. He is a versatile 6'4" forward with the ability to stretch the floor as a catch-and-shoot threat, attack closeouts off of the dribble, or use his size to finish against smaller defenders. His skill level really stands out both as a scorer and as a passer. Plisky is definitely a prospect that small college coaches should take a chance to check out this summer and into his senior season.     There has never been a question about Van's upside. The 6'5"-6'6" long, athletic forward checks a lot of boxes that college coaches are looking for in a prospect. He has the requisite athletic and physical tools. Van presents a good deal of upside as a rebounder, on both ends of the floor, and as a versatile defender. Offensively he is capable as a slasher and right hand driver, along with finishing putbacks as an offensive rebounder. He is one to watch with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 17u this summer and heading into his senior season at Greenfield-Central High School.
