<p>"I would say I'm a three level scorer that can be a playmaker and lockdown defender," Jaylen told Prep Hoops Kansas. </p>

<p>That is the potential Phillips-Grey has. Especially the lock down defender type with the agility, length and strength he has in that frame. Right now schools are definitely noticing. </p>

<p>"I have talked to NAIA's, Junior colleges and division two schools," Jaylen explained. "I haven't taking any visits yet but I will be taking some this fall."</p>

<p>He is coming off of a 14.5 point per game season where he shot 45 percent from the field (and 73 percent from the foul line) and grabbed nearly seven boards a contest as a second team all city player. What is next?</p>

<p>"I want to get my first offer and finish the summer off with more wins than losses," Jaylen said. He plays with Cooz Elite and has a couple big weekends coming up to finish out the 17u season.</p>

<p>"My 17u season has been great," Phillips-Grey explained. "I have been in contact with some coaches and I would say the highlight of my summer has been going different cities and showing my talents and spending time with my teammates."</p>
