I attended the EYBL circuit in Las Vegas this past week and watched some of the Arizona talent.

Here were some of the standout Small Forward and Power Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id='1543533' first='Jordan' last='Green'] Phhoenix Prep (Team Why Not EYBL) (Pictured)

A live bodied power forward who rebounds well and plays with a high motor to compete. He is a long strider to score and will flash to the basket and finish it off with contested layups or dunk it. He likes to work form mid-range and in and he verbally committed to Fresno State.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292818' first='O'mari' last='Gilbert'] JKP Academy ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 17)

A blossoming power forward who is just starting to put it all together. The lefty can shoot it from mid-range and in and will score with lob dunks, way above the rim dunks on the break, rip thrus, drop steps and outworks his opponents to score on put backs off the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='3354622' first='Deshaun' last='Owens'] Arcadia ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 15)

A long wing forward is a defensive type of player. He will hustle for loose balls and even dive on the ball. He keeps his opponents in front of him with his lateral quickness. He is a very good rebounder and score with offensive rebound put backs. He will drive and kick it unselfishly playing off two-feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2370259' first='Terry' last='McKinney III'] Millennium (Vegas Elite 16 EYBL)

A combo forward who plays multiple positions. He is a top end defender and transition player. The faster the game goes, the better he is. He scores with high level dunks on the break, rip thrus, advanced post footwork and counter moves and is very quick for a forward. He collects steals and plays with energy.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386977' first='Kyle' last='Speed Jr'] Gilbert ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 16)

A high motored wing forward is a monster on the glass. He will grab rebounds in and out of his area with his twitch, length and he is a quick second and third jumper. He will score with rip thrus, offensive rebound put backs and shoot it from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612509' first='Jalen' last='White'] Bella Vista Prep (AZ Unity EYBL)

A wing forward who is a literal pro athlete. He scores it with high flying dunks way above the crowd, he can hit the threes off the catch or from mid-range and will fall away from his defender. He rebounds at a high clip and will even block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2947346' first='Giovanni' last='Nielsen'] Deer Valley (Phoenix Premier United 15)

A jack of all trades plays and defends multiple positions for the 15U team. He works from inside and out. He will grab a ball off the glass and go coast to coast with multiple in-traffic takes, offensive rebound put backs and threes off the catch. He checks many boxes to affect a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292816' first='Luke' last='Galvanoni'] Mesquite (Pangos Premier)

A wing forward is a multiple positional defender. He uses his length to play the passing lanes and rebounds the ball well. He will score with dribble drives and hit the three off the catch with an improving stroke. He gets a lot of 50/50 plays and plays the right way.

[player_tooltip player_id='3693112' first='Rey' last='Lewis'] Bella Vista Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] 16)

A newcomer for me is a combo forward with a stronger frame and build. He has good size and will play either forward position and even the five position with his size and length. He will score it inside, he rebounds well and is a good passer for position. He is from Bahamas.
