He narrowly missed the All-Star Game to open June at the PrepHoopsTN Combine Mid-Ten. Savage boasts a wonderful wing height of 6-foot-3+ along with his toned basketball-ready physique. Hudson can create his own shot against college-bound guards and some taller wings. With Greenbrier High Hudson capably played both wing and forward. Facing Station Camp High way back in February Savage proved adept at sealing his man high while posting as well as providing a catch-and-shoot option outside the arc.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Most Valuable Players</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2708456' first='Chandler' last='Galloway']</strong> earned PrepHoopsTN Combine MidTenn MVP last month. A year prior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2358778' first='Sean' last='Goggins'] </strong>earned PrepHoopsTN Combine MVP. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2281200' first='Jay' last='Kirk'] </strong>exited Murfreesboro in March as the Class 2A Tournament MVP and a state champion with Alcoa High.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kirk helped Alcoa win despite moving up from 2A to 3A in classification. His team benefitted from Jay's 16 points, nine rebounds, four steals, and three blocks in complete domination of Fayette Ware (26-5) in the state quarterfinals. In fact, they outpaced AHS 25-9 in the third quarter. Four of Alcoa's starters, including [player_tooltip player_id='2281200' first='Jay' last='Kirk'], accumulated four fouls in the game, but somehow Alcoa Head Coach Ryan Collins steered the ship into the squall and emerged upright.
