2029 Rankings Top 50 Potential Impact Players

PH NorCal 2029 Rankings update. These are prospects in the top 50 that have played well in the Spring, Summer with their club teams, and the month of June with their high school team. Some are contributors off the bench, others were starters. Either way they with good play on the court they have the potential to move up next update.    He logged good minutes his first year on the Varsity, has had a good Spring and Summer playing his age group and up on occasion. A good defender, has foot speed, and lateral movement to trap and stick to ball handlers in full court. He's a point guard but does spend time off ball, with good handles, court vision, has the speed dribble to attack the paint.     He's a strong physical type player standing 6'4, most of his work will be done in and around the post area, as he continues to tune up other parts of his game. He's a bit undersized but shows the athleticism and toughness to do some things in the paint. He's got the hops and strength to finish around the rim in traffic, get putback points. He can handle, dribble, and attack in transition, along the perimeter at times. He'll be a key contributor.     He didn't play much his first season on the Varsity, but did learn the system. He'll get every opportunity to be a contributor, starting or coming off the bench. He has size and strength, understands the offense and better ways he can be contributor. Set solid screens, movement without the ball, attack the basket for rebounds on both ends, he'll get putback points, and go up strong in the paint. He has the size the strength to defend the post.     He had a good season as a starter on the JV. He'll most likely make his contributions as a reserve on the Varsity. He has an improving skill set, can play either guard position, he shot the ball well from 3 on the JV. He showed some point guard skills in June, along with spot up shooting for 3's. He gives good effort as an on ball defender. We'll see more     He's good in transition basketball, always seems to be running to fill lanes for transition buckets. He plays off ball, has decent handles to drive the baseline all the way, or pull up for a short corner jumper. He's a ball mover, moves well without the ball slashing and cutting across the lane. He'll square up, shoot 3's if open. Works to stay in front, can switch, talks on defense.
