2028 Prospects to Watch from the Under Armour Circuit

With the summer live recruiting periods now complete, we take a look back at some of the top performers at the UAA and UA Rise sessions in Atlanta and Louisville. These two sessions of the Under Armour season offered an opportunity for a handful of Florida's top programs to compete on a national level. Here is a look at some prospects to watch in the rising junior class.    Mclendon is a stat sheet stuffer for [program_tooltip program_id='2076293' first='Skills' last='Center Elite']. The Jesuit product is a three level scorer with good strength and above average quickness on the perimeter. He is a reliable shot maker from beyond the arc and can be a secondary ball handler. Not only a scorer, the rising junior can find open teammates and is productive on the glass.     Moussa has a rare combination of productivity and upside that make him one of the most exciting prospects in the 2028 class. He averaged a double-double for [program_tooltip program_id='2076347' first='SOH' last='Elite']'s very successful 16u team this month. The rising junior is a mobile big man with length and high level athleticism. He changes ends of the floor with ease, plays with a high motor and rebounds at a high rate. Moussa has good touch around the rim and an improving offensive skill set.     Bexfield is one of SWFL's top shot makers and he continued to prove that with SWFL Hoops on the UA Rise circuit. A reliable perimeter shooter with deep range, the rising junior can space the floor and moves well without the basketball. Bexfield also can be a secondary ball handler, making good decisions with the ball in his hands. His skill set and high academic profile make him an intriguing prospect for college coaches in the 2028 recruiting class.     Mariniello put together a strong July for [program_tooltip program_id='2076150' first='TNBA' last='South'], scoring in double figures during both of our evaluations this month. A skilled guard is a confident shot maker with range beyond the arc, the rising junior can make shots off the catch and off the dribble. Mariniello has a high basketball IQ and is a reliable decision maker with the ball in his hands. His productive offseason has earned him a spot in our upcoming updated 2028 player rankings.     One of the top guards on the 16u UA Rise circuit, Williams led the way for the [program_tooltip program_id='2799557' first='Mighty' last='Titans'] with his aggressive attacking style of play at the guard position. His quickness and ball skills make him difficult to keep out of the paint and he is an efficient finisher over size and length. The rising junior is capable of playing either guard position. Williams also impacts the game defensively with his activity, toughness, and ability to generate turnovers.
