July is almost half over, meaning the summer AAU season is coming to an end. The 2028 class is ready to make an impact this weekend, especially in the backcourt. Here are the 2028 Group 3 guard prospects to track this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194627' first='Tyree' last='Thorp'], 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] Camden

Thorp has the ability to play either backcourt spot and should put that on display this weekend. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a number of ways around the rim. Thorp can also score in the mid-range and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He moves well without the ball in his hands and gets deflections on the defensive end. Thorp's ability to play on and off the ball is something that will help his development over the course of the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504507' first='Jayden' last='Robinson'], 5'10 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] Teaneck

Robinson has the ability to breakout this weekend as he should have the ball in his hands more. The 5'10 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get into the paint off the bounce and has a good touch in the mid-range. Robinson wastes little motion in his release and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Robinson has the ability to put up points in bunches, which will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2784326' first='Brady' last='Gillen'], 6'0 SG Toms River East

Gillen is one of the top 2028 shooters in the Shore and should showcase why this weekend. The 6'0 guard has a clean shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Gillen moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for jumpers and layups in the half court. He is a solid rebounder and works hard on the defensive end. Gillen is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance over the course of the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2967445' first='Sean' last='Bilodeau'], 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] Manasquan

Bilodeau will get more looks on the ball this weekend, which is something that will help his game in a big way. The 6'0 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and threads passes to his teammates in the half court. Bilodeau has a good release on his jumper and rarely forces shots in the half court. He can also play off the ball and works hard on the defensive end. Bilodeau is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to run the offense effectively will help his stock throughout the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2735091' first='Elijah' last='Pierre'], 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last='']/CG Rahway

Pierre has had a big summer and is looking to carry it over into the weekend. The 6'0 guard has a nice first step, which he uses to get into the paint off the bounce and knows how to finish around the rim. Pierre can also score in the mid-range and shoots the ball with confidence on the perimeter. He can also play off the ball and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Pierre has been putting up points in bunches during the summer and should continue to do so this weekend.

Other Prospects to Track:

[player_tooltip player_id='3544068' first='Tristen' last='Dickerson'], 6'0 [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last='']/CG Westampton Tech
