Championship On The Beach featured talented teams across every age division, but a handful of programs consistently stood out throughout the weekend. Some earned championships, some dominated their age groups, and others simply found ways to win when games got tight. While moving from court to court, these were the teams that repeatedly caught my attention and left a lasting impression.

Team Durant Black | Class of 2033

Team Durant Black left Myrtle Beach as champions and looked the part throughout the weekend. One thing that stood out was their ability to receive production from different players rather than relying on one individual to carry the group. Every game seemed to feature somebody stepping up in a key moment. They played with toughness, embraced physical basketball, and consistently made winning plays when it mattered most. Their depth and willingness to accept different roles made them one of the most complete teams I evaluated during the event.

1of1 Academy | Class of 2033

No team consistently put more pressure on opposing defenses than 1of1 Academy. They attacked downhill, played aggressively, and never appeared uncomfortable in big moments. Whether pushing the pace in transition or creating opportunities in the half court, they found multiple ways to generate offense. The group played with confidence all weekend and backed it up with results, finishing undefeated while establishing themselves as one of the strongest teams in attendance.

Team Durant Jr. EYBL | Class of 2031

Team Durant Jr. EYBL quietly put together one of the most impressive weekends of any team at the event. They consistently handled business, stayed composed, and found ways to separate themselves from opponents. What stood out most was their balance. They competed on both ends of the floor, shared responsibilities throughout the lineup, and rarely seemed rattled regardless of the situation. Their undefeated run was no accident and reflected the consistency they displayed throughout the weekend.

Sniper Gang Elite | Class of 2034

Before the event even started, their coach told me they would end up on my watchlist by the end of the weekend. By Sunday, it was easy to see why. Their size immediately jumped out, but what impressed me most was how effectively they played through it. With Gavriel Noel anchoring the group, they controlled the glass, protected the paint, and consistently forced opponents to deal with their physicality. At the same time, they had enough skill throughout the roster to play in space and make plays away from the basket. Their combination of size, toughness, and versatility made them one of the more memorable groups I watched.

CSA Elite | Class of 2034

Every time I stopped by a CSA Elite game, they seemed to be in control. The group rarely sped themselves up, took care of the basketball, and consistently made smart decisions in important moments. Led by floor general Logan Lyerly, the group consistently looked comfortable in pressure situations and rarely beat themselves. Their guard play was among the best I saw throughout the weekend, but their composure stood out just as much. Even when momentum shifted or games became competitive, CSA Elite remained organized and continued making winning plays. They proved once again why they belong in the conversation among the top teams in their age group.

Leaders Gold | Class of 2035

Some teams stand out because they dominate. Others stand out because they simply keep finding ways to win. Leaders Gold fit the second category throughout Championship On The Beach. One of the most memorable games I watched all weekend involved Leaders Gold, and their ability to stay composed in tense moments left a strong impression. Despite being one of the younger groups in attendance, they never looked intimidated by pressure situations. They competed possession after possession, came through in key moments, and consistently played with confidence. Their toughness, resilience, and ability to respond when games got close made them one of the easiest teams to remember from the weekend.

Closing

Team success is rarely about one player, and each of these programs demonstrated that throughout Championship On The Beach. From undefeated runs and championship performances to competitive battles and memorable moments, these teams consistently separated themselves from the field. After spending the weekend moving from court to court, these were the teams that consistently gave me a reason to stop, watch, and come back again later in the day.
