He was playing with a cast on his left wrist, and despite being hampered by the injury, he still showed signs of why he is considered one of the top players in the state in his class. A lot of changes have taken place within the Panthers program, and with Tre's injury, we may not see the true potential of this team until the season begins.

He showed many of the traits that I have seen in his game over the past couple of years, which should make him an excellent fit once the team develops chemistry. He did a good job running the show while sharing lead guard responsibilities with Tre. He scores effectively at all three levels and showed his ability to orchestrate the offense. His addition is going to be a major boost for the Panthers moving forward.

I was particularly interested in seeing his face-up game, and he showed noticeable improvement in that area. He finished at a high rate around the basket, often scoring over smaller defenders, and he continued to rebound at a high level.

He can comfortably play on or off the ball, making him an ideal complementary piece alongside Vestavia's veteran core.
