<p>Believe it or not, June basketball is right around the corner, which means we are about to jump right back into the high school season as summer officially gets underway. After several months of travel basketball, showcase events, and AAU competition, the spring circuit is beginning to wind down. As exciting as the grassroots season has been, there is always something special about seeing players return to their high school programs and compete alongside their teammates once again.</p>

<p>The month of June provides a unique opportunity for coaches, scouts, and fans to evaluate prospects in a different setting. Players who may have been asked to fill specific roles on their AAU teams often have the chance to showcase a more complete skill set with their high school squads. It also gives us an early look at a team as a hole, offseason development, and which programs could be positioned for success when the official season rolls around later in the year.</p>

<p>Throughout the past week, we took a closer look at prospects from every class and position group as I broke down my personal watch list for the month of June. These are players who have caught my attention during the spring and are poised to make a strong impression during the upcoming high school live periods.</p>
