While guards often receive most of the attention, several frontcourt prospects made winning plays throughout the Jr. 3SSB Boys National Championships. Whether it was controlling the glass, protecting the rim, or providing consistent interior scoring, these players gave their teams a major advantage around the basket and were among the top frontcourt performers I evaluated during the weekend.

Julian Beitia | KT Kings | 2030

Julian Beitia put together one of the strongest all-around weekends of any big man in attendance, averaging 18.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game. He consistently impacted both ends of the floor with his activity around the basket and ability to alter shots defensively.
What stood out most was his motor. Beitia was constantly involved in the action, whether he was finishing inside, cleaning up possessions on the glass, or protecting the rim. His production and presence made him one of the more effective interior players in Rock Hill.

Sheldon Yarbrough | Power 5 | 2030

Few players controlled the paint as consistently as Sheldon Yarbrough. The productive forward averaged 15.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game, giving his team a reliable interior presence every time he stepped on the floor.
Yarbrough played through contact, finished around the basket, and consistently generated extra possessions with his rebounding. His physicality and defensive activity allowed him to impact winning on both ends throughout the weekend.

Justin Peppers | Arkansas Hawks | 2030

Justin Peppers continued to show why he is one of the more productive frontcourt players in his class, averaging 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.0 block per game during the event.
Peppers provided steady scoring around the basket while also helping on the glass and defensively. He showed good touch in the paint and consistently found ways to produce without forcing the action. His combination of efficiency and activity stood out throughout the weekend.

Poutoa Faalogo-Silva | Utah Magic | 2032

Poutoa Faalogo-Silva brought a physical presence every time he took the floor, averaging 15.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.
He consistently established position inside, rebounded at a high level, and finished through contact. His willingness to do the dirty work around the basket helped his team throughout the event and made him one of the more productive rebounders in attendance.

Robert Burton II | Blueprint Hoops |

Robert Burton II delivered one of the most impressive individual performances of the weekend when he posted 22 points and 16 rebounds against Love of Basketball.
Burton's activity on the glass immediately jumped out. He consistently pursued rebounds outside of his area, created second-chance opportunities, and finished plays around the basket. His combination of effort and production made him one of the top frontcourt performers I saw.

Kasen Jones

Kasen Jones was another player who consistently produced throughout the weekend. Jones recorded 20 points and 15 rebounds against Lakeshow before following it up with 16 points and 10 rebounds against TruNM.
His ability to impact the game as both a scorer and rebounder made him difficult to ignore. Jones consistently battled around the basket, finished opportunities, and helped control the glass on both ends of the floor. His production throughout the weekend earned him a spot among the top frontcourt performers from the event.
