Unranked 2028 Prospects Coaches Should Watch This Summer

He fits the mold perfectly as he has the size and the frame that will fill out with a college weight program, he moves well with the ability to run the floor, he gets above the rim to finish and is a good rim protector, and as he still has a ton of room to develop as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jules Marshall | 6'1” CG | LC Bird/Local Legends</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3592833,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Marshall-Jules.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Marshall-Jules.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3592833" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Marshall is part of a very deep and talented backcourt over at LC Bird, and as he continues to get reps and develop this summer as a go-to option he'll be a guy for coaches to watch out for in the next few years. He is a shifty guard who has a great handle and changes speeds well, he can get to the rim and scores it well through contact, he can create space and knock down shots from multiple levels, and as the game starts to come to him more he'll be a dual threat guard who can play on or off the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Abdoul Tahiron | 6'10” C | Amelia Academy/Local Legends</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tahiron is a very intriguing prospect out of little old Amelia Academy, as the 6'10” big man has only been playing for a couple of years and is still a completely raw prospect. He has a very long wingspan that he uses to challenge shots at the rim and in the midrange area, he has decent touch and hands to catch and finish in the paint, he can step out and knock down shots on the perimeter, and as he grows into his body he should fill out and become more fluid as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Chris Harris | 6'0” PG | Midlothian/Team Richmond</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3592912,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Harris-Chris.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/04/Harris-Chris.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3592912" /></a></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harris was a breakout player at Midlothian this past season, and there's rumors going around that he may be considering reclassifying and joining the 2029 class which would make him one of the better guards in the state in that class. The 6'0” lead guard is super talented as both a scorer and a distributor who is shifty off the bounce and gets in the paint at will, he can fill it up from all three levels, he has deep range from behind the arc, and he sees the floor and makes plays for others too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Will Zaudtke | 6'5” WF | Glen Allen/[program_tooltip program_id='2248971' first='River' last='City Reign']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zaudtke is another player for Glen Allen that is starting to make some noise in the Richmond area, and he has a lot of tools that college coaches will like when they watch him play. At 6'5” he has prototypical size on the wing, he's a good athlete who can run the floor and play above the rim, he knocks it down at a good clip from deep, and he's a solid rebounder and passer for his position too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>MJ Fitch | 6'1” CG | Kellam/Team Loaded 757</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":3627381,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"media"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Fitch-MJ.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Fitch-MJ.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-3627381" /></a><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Screenshot</figcaption></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fitch was quietly one of the better young guards in the 757 this past season, and he comes from good genes with a father that played college basketball and he's on track to do the same thing himself. The 6'1” combo guard can flat out fill it up with range from deep and the ability to set his feet on the move, he is shifty off the bounce and changes speeds well to keep defenders off balance, he gets to spots and scores it from multiple levels, and he plays with a chip on both ends of the floor too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
