Here is a look at a group of Class of 2027 forwards who are stock risers in the updated rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528025' first='Sebastian' last='Bolden'] (Clayton): A 6'4" guard who has grown in stature and his overall game as grown right along with it. He is a smooth shooting perimeter player who led the [program_tooltip program_id='2076546' first='Greyhounds' last=''] its most successful season in school history. He is a tremendous 3-point shooter who can get buckets at all three levels. As a junior, he averaged 25.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 4.0 steals in leading the [program_tooltip program_id='2076546' first='Greyhounds' last=''] to a 24-8 record and a berth in the Class 4 state championship game. A remarkable shooter, he shot 46 percent from 3-point range while making 94 triples.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205728' first='Brennen' last='Meloy'] (Bunker): The 6'3" guard continued his rise as one of the most dominant small school players in the state. He put together a great junior season in leading the xx to the Class 1 state championship, which was the first in the school history. He is a tremendous offensive threat, which he showed by averaging nearly 30 points a game last season. He is a physical performer who can bulldoze his way in the paint. He also can dial it up from long distance with shooting range out to 30 feet. He also has excellent athleticism to go along with his physical strength and offensive skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='2836920' first='Damarion' last='Verges'] (Clayton): A 6'6" wing player who was a big part of the Greyhounds' run to the Class 4 state championship game. He is a versatile talent who can play anywhere on the floor with his height and vast skill set. He can take the ball and facilitate offense with his ball handling and passing. He is an excellent slashing threat who can score around the basket. He also rebounds the ball very well. As a junior, he averaged 19 points and nine rebounds a game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2701102' first='Griffin' last='Mehrhoff'] (Branson): A 6'4' guard who is one of the more underrated talents in the SWMO area. He is a thick-bodied standout with good athleticism and a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. He has a quick release and he can shoot it off the catch or create one off the dribble. He is constantly moving on offense and reads the defense well. He also makes his teammates better with his passing and playmaking skills. He is playing very well during the spring with the [program_tooltip program_id='2077053' first='Yanders' last='Law'] 17U squad. He has already received a Division I offer from Western Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528034' first='Jahi' last='Martin'] (Lutheran North): A 6'1" combo guard who was a prime addition to the Crusaders lineup after his transfer from Francis Howell. He helped lead them on a late-season surge all the way to a berth in the Class 4 district championship game. He is a versatile offensive threat who can create for his teammates and also get a bucket from all three levels. He is very crafty off the dribble with the ability to change speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2701086' first='Chance' last='Shaffer'] (Billings): A 5'10" point guard who led Billings to a Class 1 district championship during the season. He hit the game-winning shot in the closing seconds to defeat two-time state champion Chadwick. He is an excellent playmaker with smooth handles and a nice feel for the game. He creates well for his teammates with his passing and he can also shoot it from 3-point range with extended range.
