This Spring PH NorCal has been all around NorCal, the past few weekends and one in SoCal for 3SSB. There are plenty of prospects that have stood out while we were in the gym. Here are some of the combo guards and wings that played well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443117' first='Gene' last='Castillo']: A balanced player can play multiple positions, handles the ball well in open court, has vision, makes good moves off the dribble to create his shots getting into the paint for jumpers, and floaters from the perimeter. Listed at 6'3 he's an excellent shooter from behind the 3-point line, has to be accounted for, spots up from different areas, and coming down in rhythm.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452902' first='Gabe' last='Halbrecht']: He's an improving ball handler, and passer, showing he can put it on the floor with good drives into the paint for kick-out passes, paint jumpers, or using upper body strength playing through contact to get a basket going up. He's pushing and looking to make the pass in transition, runs hard to fill lanes in transition. He's looking confident shooting open 3's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533855' first='Silas' last='Hightower']: He's a long wing type prospect, a good rebounder, who handles well pushing fast, and looking to make a play in transition, using a burst of speed, and crossovers. A lefty with good ball handling who can weave his way into the paint avoiding hard hits, attacking along the baseline with a good first step for the short corner jumpers, and finishes around the rim. He has length, footspeed, lateral movement to be a good defender. He's still developing his overall skill set, but does have the tools improve his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3522928' first='Charlie' last='Sullivan']: A rising prospect in the NorCal 2028 Class. He's still in the process of sharpening his overall playmaking abilities. He's a capable ball handling guard who'll take on a bigger role this upcoming high school season. For now he's having a breakout Spring with his NBBA UA Rise 16U team. Make no mistake Sullivan can drop 3ptrs from key spots in different situations. He can create space with his dribble, come down in rhythm, use screens, and footwork with a quick release, spot up for catch 3's. He has some footspeed off the dribble to get by defenders and into the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2952311' first='Jaysean' last='West']: An athletic wing prospect still developing his offensive skill set. He's good in transition racing to fill lanes, taking it aggressive to the rim. He showed himself to be a good defender, and rebounder at the 15U level. Plays with energy, got the quick hands, feet and lateral movement up top to cause problems for ball handlers, and shooters out on the perimeter. At 6'2 and growing he used a quick jump, long arms to snatch offensive rebounds for putback points. He can rebound and go coast to coast, will dunk if there's a clear path. He made a corner 3ptr.

[player_tooltip player_id='3590305' first='Will' last='Light']: He has an improving skill set, plays under control. At the 15U level standing 6'4 he'll start at the high post, screening, cutting to the basket. He's a perimeter player shot ready to knock down 3's with range if left unattended. He's a ball mover, makes cuts without the ball. He has some moves off the dribble that can get him into the paint using his length for hard to block paint jumpers and other ways to get his shots off inside. He plays off two feet, can use a Euro. He rebounds at the 15U level, uses long strides to go coast to coast with the dribble. Good upside we'll see more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2484214' first='Logan' last='Weger']: He's having a good Spring overall preparing for an expanded role next season with his hs team. He's 6'3 playing multiple positions with his club team. Ball handling up top, with vision, and ball movement around the perimeter showing he can be a facilitator at times, takes care of the ball. He's a solid body that uses balance, and body on drives to the basket from the perimeter for paint jumpers, goes hard but under control to the basket in transition. He's shot ready squaring up for 3-pointers around the perimeters. He's taking and making good shots.
