NorCal Spring 2028 Watch List

PH NorCal Watch List helps us track prospects that played on the JV. In the Spring, and Summer, they'll probably play 16U looking to improve, and get ready for the Varsity next season.    He averaged almost 10pts a game on the JV. He contributes on both ends of the court. He's more of a combo right now. He handles, sees the court, moves it quickly around the perimeter. He has a first step to get into the paint take the hits, or drop a floater, shot ready for a corner 3. He's an alert defender, good reactions, might get a steal.     He's a combo guard, but shows mostly as a point guard, might be a pass first when up top. A good ball handler protects the ball with his body, keeps his dribble, keeps the offense flowing with passing around the perimeter, he feeds the post. He goes hard and strong when he goes to the basket challenging blockers. He has leverage, lateral movement, can stay with ball handlers     A two sport athlete (Football) Has good movement on the court, alert defender with footspeed, lateral movement. He plays under control, doesn't rush things, moves the ball around the perimeter, handles ball pressure, has court vision, passes up early. He stands shot ready to shoot 3's. He can run point.     He can be an effective high post passers, screener. He executed the pick and roll, used a dribble or two to get to the basket. He's still learning and developing, how to use his body will, probably grow a few more inches. He did catch and finish around the rim. He has the size, with more seasoning he could be a reliable post defender, and help rebound     He was a starter on the JV, averaged 11pts a game. He has an improving skill set, fast dribbling up court, can finish layups in traffic. He had a couple mid-range pull ups off the dribble. At 6'1 he helps rebound, plays with energy on the defensive side, quick feet, lateral movement.     He has a solid body stands around 6'4, still learning how to use his strength, and body in the post area. He does have an improving skill set. He helps to relieve ball pressure, brings the ball up court on occasion. He can use his dribble at times on the perimeter, he'll shoot an open 3 in the corner. He circles the post area, hands up making himself a target.     He was a productive guard on the JV averaging 10pts a game. He's a long arm defender, has leverage, and lateral movement to defend on ball. He's a combo guard works mostly off ball with ball movement, reversal, and looking inside. He can handle and pass in transition, handles can use some improvement.     A good all around guard at the JV level. Averaged 10pts a game. An improving skill set, footspeed. He's a ball handler, uses quick dribbles to penetrate the paint, finish in different ways, can handle contact. He plants, gathers, decide pass, or shoot. He's a got mid-range jumper, good attacking in transition.
