High-Level Prospects Making Noise this Spring

The future is never certain, but high major talent typically flashes its potential early. Here are a few young prospects who've had a great spring and are likely destined for collegiate hoops. Rmani looked like a man amongst boys while getting some extra run in with MF Elite a few weekends ago. Every aspect of his game came easy, whether or not he was attacking in iso situations or pushing the tempo in the open court. He has nice size and knows how to use it to get to his spots and finish through contact. He pulled off several coast-to-coast layups and dunks that energized his team and ultimately put the nail in the coffin for the game. A modern-day swingman who has a lot of good basketball ahead of him.     Kentucky is raging with young talent, and Joshua is the perfect ambassador of the state's hoops renaissance. His game is years beyond his age as evidenced by his ability to play up during the school ball season and during travel ball activities. He's a bigger guard, especially for his grade level, who's capable of doing a bit of everything on the court. With his IQ, court vision, and scoring abilities, Joshua can seamlessly play several positions. His budding athleticism also foreshadows an ability to play above the rim consistently in the future.     Chad is a lanky guard who used his length to his advantage on both ends of the court at the Nike Jr. EYBL Midwest Session II. His confidence is through the roof which worked out in his favor when taking difficult shots. He was extremely comfortable with creating scoring opportunities for himself off the dribble in the midrange and beyond the arc. He also flashed a mature level of patience, unafraid to take his time surveying the defense and using tools like jab steps and pump fakes to shift it to his liking.     Multi-talented slashers are amongst the most coveted commodities in today's game and DeAngelo has flashed the potential to be just that. He's uber strong but that doesn't take away from his above-the-rim athleticism. He uses his length efficiently to jump passing lanes and create fast break opportunities. He also showcased legit footwork in the post that allows him to play inside and out as needed. A diverse forward who embraces physicality and has a very high ceiling.
