Havoc in the Heartland 2026: All Tournament 2nd Team 15u

Here's a list of the All Tournament 2nd Team. Enjoy!!    Joshua is the kind of player who makes all the hustle plays for his team. I watched him give maximum effort on both ends of the court. He's a great rebounder who attacked the boards with a ferocity that showed his determination to win. Offensively, Joshua scored tough baskets through contact. Those scores led to three-point play opportunities from the free-throw line. When Progeny 15u-2 ran the court, Joshua made a point to finish strong at the rim. Many of his hustle plays included chasing down loose balls, setting screens and playing defense. During the game, Joshua showed his versatility by defending multiple positions on the basketball court. He forced numerous turnovers and blocked a couple of shots. Joshua is an awesome player who has the talent to become greater in the coming years.     This young man was the “hustle guy” for Legacy Ice 15u Storm. Joshua did a little of everything on the court. He's a great rebounder who did it on both ends of the court. Joshua attacked the boards with authority, especially on offense. Whenever his teammates missed a shot, he was there to grab it and score around the basket. When the team had an opportunity to score in transition, Joshua sprinted down the court and finished strong at the rim. He's a good ball handler who creates his own shots by beating defenders off the dribble. His drives to the basket led to scores for himself or assists to other Legacy Ice 15u Storm players. Defensively, Joshua put his body on the line by taking charges. He also played great team defense, which caused numerous turnovers from the opposition.     Brian is a shifty shooting guard who stays in constant "attack mode" throughout the game. He's a good ball handler who easily drove around defenders and scored around the basket. Whether it was attacking opponents, knocking down mid-range jumpers, scoring in transition or extending his range beyond the three-point line, Brian found ways to be effective on the basketball court. He's an excellent rebounder from the guard position. Whenever he had the opportunity to attack the glass, he did so effectively. Some of his offensive boards led to multiple scoring opportunities for his teammates or himself. On defense, he was great at using his length to be disruptive against opposing guards. He finished the game with multiple steals. Brian is a promising young athlete! I expect him to have a great Sophomore season at Brebeuf Jesuit.     Luke showed great leadership by communicating with his teammates on both ends of the floor. On offense he made sure everyone ran the correct sets. Defensively, he called out screens and player switches. Luke had a knack for cleaning up his teammates' misses and scoring around the basket. In some instances, he was able to make jump-shots from the perimeter. There were also moments in the game where Luke shocked me and knocked down threes. I viewed him as strictly an inside player. Well, I guess I was proven wrong. Luke was great at doing all the intangibles such as, setting screens, taking charges and going after loose balls. On defense, Luke was a physical presence who protected the paint and blocked shots. He's an excellent player who could be a key to his teams' success throughout the summer.     Kylan is a big-time shooter for [program_tooltip program_id='3599658' first='Grand' last='Park Premier 2029 White']. When the team needed a basket, Kylan knocked them down. He's clearly a three-point threat on the basketball court. I watched him knock down four threes over the course of the game. When the opportunity presented itself, Kylan attacked opponents off the dribble and got to the basket. Some of those scores came from high arching shots and tough lay-ups. Kylan stayed aggressive whenever he was in scoring position. On defense, he was great at taking charges, hitting the floor for loose balls and doing all the hustle plays needed to help [program_tooltip program_id='3599658' first='Grand' last='Park Premier 2029 White'] win. After watching Kylan play, I view this young man as a winner! He has a great future in the game of basketball.     Wyatt is an aggressive combo guard who is skilled enough to play the role of scorer or facilitator. He's a skillful ball handler who easily make plays on the court. Wyatt excelled at winning his one-on-one match-ups. This often led to easy scores in the paint or flashy assists to his teammates. Wyatt also has the ability to knock down short perimeter jump-shots. In the second half he made a couple of threes by using hesitation dribble moves to free himself. These moves allowed him to make a high percentage of his shots. He's an excellent passer who found his teammates in scoring positions on numerous occasions. Wyatt is a talented guard who has a trajectory that's rising in the game of basketball.     The big man has the possibility of being a special player in the near future. His size gave him a distinct advantage over his opponents. Ayden already stands six-foot-nine inches as a high school Sophomore. He's a dominate rebounder who effectively crashed the boards on both ends of the court. After watching Ayden play, I could clearly see he was the "glue guy" of the Progeny 15u-1 team. He is not a polished scorer as of now, but that will come with more offensive growth in his game. A majority of his scores came from the offensive rebounds. Ayden was great at drawing contact in the paint. He had over six free-throw attempts throughout the game. Defensively, is where Ayden definitely shined! His physical presence made scoring a difficult task for the opposition. Ayden protected the paint and blocked multiple shots. If he develops a short perimeter shot, Ayden would be a tough cover for opposing defenses.
