We started with getting our first look at [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Reyes 17U as they blew out Phenom United Indiana 66-44. Early on it was all about the inside play for [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] as Lake Forest Academy center Boti Szabo-Zsamba used his wide frame and strength to rip off a handful of early buckets sealing in the post and going to his left hand. Also rebounded very well as he had 8 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2877543' first='Landon' last='Lethunya'] also of LFA is a wiry combo forward that brings major bounce with his quickness to the glass for tip slams, scoring on cuts, and high pointing rebounds for 6 points. The breakout star was [player_tooltip player_id='2442186' first='Ty' last='Smith']. The [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] standout from Lyons came out of nowhere to score 23 points in the victory. Wing with a clean looking shot from three, solid athleticism scoring in transition, and was impactful on the defensive end laterally along with vertically. Vernon Hills wing Graham Lis also emerged as a name to watch. Shooting guard that is creative off the bounce, slick passer, and capable shooter who went for 13 points. Benet long and rangy wing [player_tooltip player_id='2426052' first='Cormac' last='Hanus'] flashed as a passer and shot maker. Fellow Benet guard [player_tooltip player_id='2125689' first='Tyler' last='Cibulka'] is a very good passer that made heady plays throughout the night. Leo junk yard dog forward Nate Stephens knocked in some spot up threes, attacked the rim, and rebounded well.

Dream Loudly 15U Plays Small Ball Sharing Wealth

The Dream Loudly 15U squad out of Michigan was a fun one to watch. They are a five guard lineup that spread it out and let it fly! MJ Crosby is a smaller point guard that lived in the paint getting dribble penetration for creative layups along with bombing in multiple triples en route to 19 points. His running mate Gabe Hutcherson also shined in this one hitting step back threes, being very active on the defensive end creating turnovers, and using his body control around the rim. Slick ball handler and passer who had 12 points.

Hononegah 2029 shooting guard Zuri Burgess led the way for FVV 15U. Plus shooter off the catch that can let it fly from three notching 12 points. Rockford Jefferson combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2369946' first='Jordan' last='Wright'] was at his best using his quickness off the bounce scoring in the paint netting 9 points.

Big 3 Rozema 17U Has Duo Break Out in Win

The very last game of the night went to Big 3 Rozema 17U by a final of 62-59. Timothy Christian 6'3” shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2403987' first='Charles' last='Rieger'] had a big time performance. Strong frame and consistently won on straight line takes while finishing through contact for and-1s or getting to the line. Did mix in a spot up three and showed some athleticism defensively, but his most damage was putting his head down to get buckets for 19 points in the victory. [player_tooltip player_id='2409249' first='Jonathan' last='Ocampo'] also emerged as the 5'10” point guard from West Chicago was crafty scorer with slick drives. Really liked the pace that he played with pushing when he needed and changed gears. Dropped 13 points in the victory. [player_tooltip player_id='3590561' first='Julian' last='Mac Fadden'] out of York is a versatile 6'5” forward that brings a lot of intangibles to the table as he had 6 points.

88 West guard [player_tooltip player_id='2389398' first='Orlando' last='Edwards'] had an impressive game especially with a strong first half. The 6'3” long and rangy shooting guard is a lefty from West Aurora that can really score off the bounce. Threw down a big dunk and got to the lane pretty consistently throughout the game. Slick ball handler that can also snatch rebounds. He had 20 points. East Aurora 2027 wing [player_tooltip player_id='2736853' first='Casston' last='Cross'] put his name on our radar as a bouncy wing who is quick around the basket, finished out of the dunker spot, and had acrobatic conversions for 13 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2431475' first='David' last='Udoiwod'] out of Geneva ignited in the second half as the smaller scoring guard was pesky on the defensive end and has burst getting to the cup. He had 11 points.
