Dade County Underclassmen on the Rise

One of the state's premier talent hubs, Dade County continues to produce high level prospects year after year and this junior class is next in line. Here's a look at some of the Dade County underclassmen who are on the rise. Coming off an All-County season, Roche has continued his ascension with a productive spring for Team Miami. The junior is a skilled shot-maker with range who can impact the game with his ability to pass, handle, and score. He plays with a good feel for the game, shows better than average quickness and athleticism, and consistently makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. Another First Team All-County selection out of Miami Palmetto, the junior has carried that momentum into a strong spring with Miami Triple Threat on the RecruitLook circuit. A versatile combo guard, he's increasingly taken on primary ball-handling duties, showing a high basketball IQ and the ability to control tempo with his change of speed. He has good size for the position, is an efficient perimeter shot-maker, and consistently breaks down defenders off the bounce, finishing effectively in the paint. Corbitt is an athletic wing with good size and length who continues to trend upward. A capable perimeter shot maker, his consistency from the outside is improving, making him more of a threat offensively. He attacks the rim effectively with straight line drives and uses his physical tools to finish through contact. On the defensive end, he provides value with his strength, length, and toughness, showing the ability to guard multiple positions. Playing with the NJ Shoreshots on the UAA circuit, Moss is a quick, skilled, left handed guard who brings a strong scoring punch to the backcourt. He has deep shooting range and is comfortable both off the catch and creating his own shot off the dribble. Moss plays with confidence and pace, using his quickness and craft to get into the lane and put pressure on the defense. Beyond his scoring ability, he shows solid playmaking instincts, capable of creating opportunities for teammates when defenses collapse. A smart guard with a good feel for the game, he continues to trend upward as a dynamic offensive weapon. Lopez is a prospect poised to make a strong jump in the next rankings update. The junior combines high level athleticism with ideal positional size, allowing him to consistently get into the paint and finish effectively at the rim. His perimeter shot continues to improve, but he's already a capable catch and shoot option from beyond the arc. On the defensive end, he stands out as an excellent, versatile defender with the ability to guard multiple positions and impact the game with his length and athleticism.
