The lefty point guard hit two early 3-pointers with a high arcing shot that was smooth with his feet set. Undersized when driving to the rim, Davis used the rim as protection on his drives and played with good pace with the ball in his hands. Blocking at least four or five shots and altering a few more, Royse did an excellent job protecting the rim and blocking shots without fouling. Royse's size was an obvious advantage in this game but he also ran the floor, knocked down a pick and pop 3-pointer and caught passes from different angles. Carter did a nice job in transition of pushing the ball after defensive rebounds and steals, helping create some easy fast break opportunities for himself and his teammates. I liked how George operated out of the triple threat, using jab steps and pump fakes to get the defense off balance. George also finished at the rim using either of his hands, showing his skill level in the paint. With excellent length and defensive instincts, Hurd caused deflections, blocked shots and had a pickpocket steal. Hurd also has unique change of direction ability on the ball as he can start-stop-start quickly on the ball. McCoy knocked down shots with his feet set and had a key bucket off a BLOB set. A player you need to box out, McGrapth has the motor, length and vertical leaping ability to feast on the offensive glass.
