<p>The last full week of May is here, meaning the summer season is right around the corner. The 2027 class is looking to have a big June, especially in the backcourt. Here are the 2027 Group 4 shooting guard prospects who could have a big June.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2344530' first='Noah' last='Perna'], 6'1 Southern Regional</strong></h2>   <p>Perna has been one of the most productive prospects in Ocean County over the last couple of years and should put it on display this June. The 6'1 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and can make shots through contact. Perna can also score in the mid-range and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Perna has the ability to put up points in bunches, which will help his game during the next couple of weeks.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2858268' first='Sean' last='Perrotta'], 6'1 Bloomfield</strong></h2>   <p>Perrotta did a little bit of everything for Bloomfield during his junior campaign and will look to carry that over into June. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Perrota also uses his handle to get into the lane and can find his open teammates in the half court. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and pushes the pace well in transition. Perrotta has the ability to play on and off the ball, which will help his game in a big way over the course of June.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3557319' first='Derek' last='Roth'], 6'2 Central Regional</strong></h2>   <p>Roth has the ability to play either spot on the perimeter, which will help his game in a big way. The 6'2 guard uses his good first step to get into the paint and knows how to finish around the basket. Roth can also score in the mid-range and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is a strong rebounder and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Roth does a little bit of everything for the Golden Eagles, which will help his stock over the next couple of weks.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3544210' first='Reed' last='Flood'], 6'0 Union</strong></h2>   <p>Flood helped the Farmers win 22 games this season and is looking to build off of that this June. The 6'0 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the basket off the bounce and can finish in a number of ways around the rim. Flood is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is a tough on-ball defender and is an underrated defender. Flood is a gritty guard prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor during the month of June.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3544175' first='Byron' last='Vanterpool'], 6'0 Union City</strong></h2>   <p>Vanterpool had a breakout junior campaign and should have an even bigger June. The 6'0 guard wastes little motion in his release and sets his feet before he shoots. Vanterpool can also get to the basket off the bounce and has the ability to play off the ball as well. He is an underrated defender and pushes the pace well in transition.
