<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589550' first='Brian' last='Carreon'], Estancia</strong>: The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Carreon brings great size and skill to the hardwood for the Bears. Averaged 6.9 points and a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game. Most impressive stat? Carreon averaged over 3 offensive rebounds per game, so he utilized his size to his team's advantage.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3476153' first='Trey' last='Cloud'], Questa</strong>: Emerged as one of the top young and versatile players in northern New Mexico this past season. Averaged 8.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, finishing as Questa's second leading scorer. The Wildcats' top four scorers in 2025-236 were all freshmen and sophomores, so better days could be ahead.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589543' first='Harlem' last='Coley'], Raton</strong>: After excelling on the gridiron in the fall, Corley hit the hardwood and quickly proved he's one of the top young two-sport athletes in Northern New Mexico. Averaged about 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game for the Tigers. Good speed and quickness. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2722439' first='Ajay' last='Encinias'], Vaughn</strong>: Encinias was a bright light in a challenging season for Vaughn. Averaged about 11 points per game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3187672' first='Ben' last='Parks'], NMMI</strong>: The 6-foot-3 Parks showed promise for NMMI this past season, averaging nearly 7 points and 4 rebounds per game for the Colts. NMMI returns four of its top six scorers in 2026-27, Parks among them. His role should greatly expand next season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3581905' first='Elias' last='Rodriguez'], Bernalillo</strong>: Bernalillo is another team that endured a difficult season from a win-loss perspective. But Rodriguez emerged as a team leader despite being just a freshman. He averaged nearly 10 points per game and scored over 260 points. Bernalillo has a new head coach, giving the Spartans a fresh start in 2026-27.</p>
