Six Promising New Additions To Updated 2029 Rankings (Part 3)

In Part 3 of a series, here are 5 more New Additions to the rankings:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589585' first='Anthony' last='Casarez'], Des Moines</strong>: A point guard, Casarez averaged about 6 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists per game for the Demons. Second on the team in 3-pointers made with 28. In fact, a majority of his field goals were triples.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589557' first='Devon' last='Chavez'], Estancia</strong>: After an exceptional fall on the gridiron, Chavez displayed promise on the hardwood for the Bears. Utilizing his speed and quickness, he averaged 4.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589593' first='Khyler' last='Guerro'], To'hajiilee</strong>: Averaged 5.3 points and nearly two rebounds and two steals per game for the Warriors. He also saw action with the varsity as an eighth-grader in 2024-25.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589559' first='Adlai' last='Gutierrez'], Cloudcroft</strong>: Exhibited all-around skills for Cloudcroft this past season by averaging 5.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Cloudcroft returns most of its players in 2026-27, so the Bears should be improved. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589558' first='Rory' last='McClain'], Animas</strong>: The 2025-26 was a rough one for Animas but McClain is one of a promising young core of players who will look to boost the Panthers' win total in 2026-27. He averaged 4.4 points and 5 rebounds per game. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3589556' first='Ethan' last='Villa'], Newcomb</strong>: Villa was Newcomb's leading scorer this past season (6.5 ppg) as the Skyhawks endured a difficult season.
