Heart of It All Classic: X-Factors Who You May Have Missed

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops covered the 2026 Heart of It All Classic in Geneva, Ohio at SPIRE Institute April 3rd and 4th. There were many players that shined all throughout the two day event at SPIRE. He is an electric finisher in transition finishing off two feet. I love the high motor on this kid! He does a stellar job of sitting down in a stance defensively and applying pressure to the ball handler and shooters as a pressure defender. His length really helps him stand out on the defensive end. Dayari Lashley has no issue scoring the ball with either hand near the basket as well. He can score with either hand through any contact at the rim. This rising 8th grader is not afraid to get physical and power through contact on his way to two points. What impresses me the most is his ability to move and handle the basketball for his size and position. He is an absolute tear in transition gliding to the hoop for finishes! [player_tooltip player_id='3565458' first='Blake' last='Kessler'] also displays a pure stroke for a big, hitting midrange pull ups and capitalizing on his free throw opportunities. He has a great ability to attack down hill and initiate contact while finishing at the rim. Really impressed with his size and his ability to use it in the paint! [player_tooltip player_id='3565600' first='Brantley' last='Beach'] isn't afraid of anyone! He clearly showed that he loves to compete on both ends of the floor at a high level and gets the best out of each of his teammates. Beach has such a high motor! He already has great positional size and strength for his age and knows how to use it. I was greatly impressed with his fluidity and footwork scoring the ball with either hand for his age. He already plays with a ton of confidence! [player_tooltip player_id='3566658' first='Jaden' last='Neitzke'] has a broad frame and uses his size very well to create initial position down in the low post making difficult shots look easy! Baker has a killer crossover and uses his low center of gravity to get around and between defenders with ease. [player_tooltip player_id='3565490' first='Kale' last='Baker'] is also an already very confident shooter for his age! He is a able to create his own shot off the dribble as well as fight to finish on drives hitting tough shots through contact! Love this kid's grit and hustle that he demonstrates even at a young age!
