Hunt served up buckets in a dominating opening victory for the Disciples. A lanky wing, who was a force in attacking the rim. Especially in transition where he quickly turned defense into offense, and even got on the offensive glass. Hunt also has range from three, making it rain all contest long from deep. His combination of scoring and defensive motor points to a potentially very strong 17U AAU season for the rising junior.

Pure shooter from deep, was cashing out in the second half of a Friday evening victory. Looked most comfortable when he was a spot up threat. When his feet were set and he had space he was basically automatic. Helped out with the ball handling duties to close out the contest. Recovered a couple times against aggressive defense, which is good perseverance but will need to continue to refine his handle.

AAU play brings more openings and up tempo play, which is perfect for one of the top athletes in Oklahoma to showcase his natural gifts. From the jump in this contest, Richards was cleared for takeoff. Multiple times he forced turnovers, was off to the races and then put on a show with above the rim theatrical dunks. Caught a nasty oop during his first half highlight reel. And got on the offensive glass for a putback dunk.

The rising junior is fresh off a breakout season and 3A State Championship run with Millwood. His role this past season was a rim running, high energy player. Often doing the dirty work around the rim. Clearly he has the athleticism to be a wing or possibly even a two guard at the next level. Now AAU will give him the opportunity to play more on the perimeter and improve his all around game.

Vinneau was steady in the first half and then came alive in the second half of a comeback victory. Finally got a three to fall, and the rest of his game fell into place. He has a physical frame, which gives him power and explosiveness on drives. First showed off that talent with a transition dunk. Then a few minutes later, shook a defender with a crossover and threw down a nasty dunk on a drive in the halfcourt. It doubled as a crucial late score. With his size, power and the poise he plays with, the available senior should be a big time target for high level D2 programs and possibly even low major D1 teams. This past high school season, he was District MVP and an All Academic performer.

Green got cooking in the second half, knocking down a pair of above the break threes that temporary put his squad up double digits. And when it became a back and forth contest in the final minutes, it was a cool as ice mid-range pull by Green that tied the game back up. He's a quicker guard, who scored in a variety of ways. Including good body control on a runner type take.
