These All-Section teams were compiled using the following criteria: individual league honors earned, success of the team in league and postseason play, and the statistics accumulated for the season. This article includes the following information: player name, position, height, school name, and current grade.

[player_tooltip player_id='3566347' first='Von' last='Bibioff']-Junior (6'1 | CG) - Kerman Lions

Tri-County - Sequoia League Most Valuable Player

Bibioff picked up from where his older brother left off his senior year, leading the Lions to a league title, and has solidified himself as one of the top scorers in the Section. Bibioff had six games of 30 or more points, is a true 3-level scorer, and lights out from beyond the arc.

Keyvon Burcher-Senior (5'10 | PG) - McLane Highlanders (Fresno)

Season averages per game: 16 points, 4 rebounders, 3 assists, and 3 steals

1st Team All-North Yosemite League

Division 4 Central Section Championship Player of the Game

Burcher has been leading the Highlanders for the last three years and came up huge in the Section Title game to give McLane its first Section title in decades. The physical and skilled lead guard makes plays to get others involved, has the moves to create his own shots, keeps relentless pressure on the defense, and is a high-level on-ball defender that turns defense to offense routinely.

Malachi Davis-Junior (6'3 | WG) - McFarland Cougars

Season averages per game: 26 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks

South Sequoia League Most Valuable Player

Davis put together another monster statline this season and led the Cougars to an undefeated 12-0 season, winning the South Sequoia League outright. Davis impacts the game in countless ways, can score from 3-levels, and is a versatile defender that can guard the 1 through 4 effectively.

Micah Fox-Senior (6'5 | WF) - Lemoore Tigers

West Yosemite League co-Most Valuable Player

Fox put together an impressive senior campaign and led the Tigers to a three way tie for the West Yosemite League title, while showcasing his ability to operate in the post, as well as score from the perimeter. Fox is athletic with a strong build, but has the skill to create from the wing and attack the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='3069019' first='Drake' last='Jimenez']-Sophomore (6' | PG) - Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakesfield)

Season averages per game: 11.5 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals

South Yosemite River League co-Most Valuable Player

Jimenez took the wheel this season for the G-Hawks, running the show on offense, getting his teammates involved, but being able to create his own offense when called upon. Jimenez plays with pace and control with the ball in hand, keeps pressure on the defense, and is a timely and instinctive perimeter defender that can turn defense to offense routinely.

Julius Medina-Senior (6'1 | CG) - Santa Maria Saints

Season averages per game: 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals

Ocean League Most Valuable Player

Medina had a monster senior season, was one of the top 3-point shooters in the state, and was the Division 5 Central Section runner-up Player of the Game, going for 25 points, connecting on 6 threes, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals in the loss.

Kharon Parks-Junior (6'3 | WG) - Sanger West Hornets (Fresno)

Season averages per game: 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals

North Yosemite League Most Valuable Player

Parks led the Hornets to a NYL title, going 8-1, the #1 seed in the D4 Section playoffs, and a spot in the Championship game before coming up one win short of a Section title. Parks has solid handles, can score it from 3-levels, and is a key piece in helping put Sanger West on the hoops map in the Section as a newer school.

Demaje Riley-Junior (5'10 | CG) - Tulare Union Tribe

Season averages per game: 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals

1st Team All-West Yosemite League

Division 3 Central Section Championship Player of the Game

Riley has been part of the high octane backcourt for the Tribe the last few years and was pivotal in helping Tulare Union win the WSL title in a 3-way tie, win the D3 Section title, and get to the D4 State final four. Riley is an elite 3-sport athlete that recently committed to Fresno State for football, has been a high-level combo guard that scores the ball from 3-levels, is an elite on-ball defender, and can shoot the 3-ball to score in volume.

Ethan Saenz-Junior (5'11 | PG) - North Bakersfield Stars

Season averages per game: 23 points and 7.5 assists

1st Team All-South Yosemite Mountain League

Saenz had another stellar season leading the Stars in scoring and putting the team on his back this year, more than he had been tasked with in his first two seasons with the Stars. Saenz became North Bakersfield's all-time leading scorer this season, with nearly 1600 points with his senior season still to play. The lead guard has dynamic handles, can score it from 3-levels, and make winning basketball plays. I expect Saenz to be the front-runner to win his second league MVP and the Stars will be one of the teams to beat in Division 3.

[player_tooltip player_id='2915953' first='Rhead' last='Sweeney']-Sophomore (6'4 | CG) - Buchanan Bears (Clovis)

1st Team All-Tri-River Athletic Conference

Sweeney led the Bears in scoring and has emerged as one of the top perimeter shooters in the Section, specifically from beyond the arc. Sweeney was a key piece in Buchanan winning the TRAC outright, going 9-1, and getting back to the D1 Section title game. Sweeney has solid handles, crafty moves to create off the bounce, has great footwork and body control using the spin-move, Euro-step, and fadeaway jumper, and will be relied upon to lead Buchanan next season, along with other talented sophomores and teammates to help the Bears stay at the top of the TRAC and one of the teams to beat in Division 1 play.

Daymen Tamayo-Senior (5'11 | CG) - Coalinga Horned Toads

West Sierra League Most Valuable Player

Division 5 Central Section Championship Player of the Game

Tamayo became the school's all-time leading scorer, led his team to an undefeated league record winning the West Sierra League outright, a D5 Section title, and a run to the D5 State semifinals. Tamayo also set a single game scoring record of 55 points and will be missed next season, but left his mark on the program and the Section.
